"Well to be fair I did not stay there my son stayed there while he was on a training course and he had no complaints so I'm sure if there was anything he would have complained to me. He said the staff were very nice the room was good plenty fresh towels bed made every day plenty parking in the car park breakfast wasn't too bad it was a help yourself so believe me he probably did help himself. "Amazing place to stay. My friend is a Coeliac and they were so accommodating over food choices even making her a GF veloute sauce especially. And toast for breakfast. The only downside was the aperture to get in the corner shower was incredibly small and I am not a large person. Any average sized man would have great difficulty getting in it. Bed was very comfy though."

"Really lovely stay, staff very helpful, professional and friendly. Room was ideal and comfy and clean had everything we needed. We ate and drank in the pub, reasonably priced and very good. There was a live singer the atmosphere was great. Breakfast was lovely too. Id definately recommend and would stay again."

"Been here before so knew what to expect. Lovely room with modern facilities right in the centre of town. Great staff and the building is nearly 400 years old so fabulous atmosphere. Be aware that as the room we had (3) is right over the bar, so can get noisy "

"Great location, right in the town centre. Very modern and clean. Easy to control the temperature of the room. Downside: low shower pressure and no parking. A council car park is a minute walk away which is fine but the app didn't work and I had to go and pay again after 6pm in order to pay for the morning. "

"A lovely Inn to stay in historic Hathersage. Small car park that made parking a little tricky at times. Pleasant room overlooking the car park. Bed a little uncomfortable but not a problem. Excellent food and drink in the pub. Breakfast time is limited to 8:30 to 9:30 although they did a slightly later breakfast for us on the Saturday so that my wife could do the nearby parkrun."

"Stayed in the single room with a dog. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and a good size with single bed. The shower room was of a good size. The room overlooks the garden, some car parking and partial view of a road from the village. Out of season this room was lovely and quiet and suited my needs.
