"This property is beautiful. Jill was extremely quick to answer any questions! You absolutely do not need to bring anything along except groceries, the kitchen is fully stocked and then some. The only thing to note would be that the king bedroom does not have a door, and the bedroom with the twin beds is through the king room. Perfect for our family because my kids were able to stay in that room while my husband and I were right there. If it wasn't family that could be weird. We would absolutely stay again!"

"Such a lovely stay at this beautiful log home snuggled in the bluffs of Lanesboro. Very welcoming accommodations for a girls trip. We rode 65 total miles on the bike, and took refuge in shelter of home to play games at the kitchen table, cook breakfast with all the provided necessary items from the kitchen, coffee on the porch (swing chairs were amazing), and lots of laughter. Beds were comfy. So much offered, we barely touched on. I could have stayed a week or longer! The girls trip was a hit due to the comforts of this beautiful log cabin home. I'll be back!"

"We are a family with two 7 year old boys; we have not had any camping experience and were looking for a home base while we visited Mystery Cave. This place was just right! Paul and Karen are hospitable and generous hosts. They share of their time, talent, knowledge (which is extensive) and even of their harvest. We enjoyed delicious fresh asparagus, garlic scapes and grape jelly during our visit. Karen has a gift for connecting—my boys are both a bit unusual and sometimes difficult to understand, but she made us all feel right at home. She helped them (and all of us) learn how to treat animals and the earth with kindness and respect. By the time our short visit of 3 days ended, the boys were fetching water and hay for the animals (goats, mini horses and a donkey)."

"Property had ample space, good parking and a quiet neighborhood. It is a 2 bed, 1 1/2 bath home. No fireplace, no hot tub. Beds were comfortable. Food was left over in fridge and freezer from previous renters which was kind of odd to me but I guess would have been nice to have if you were ok eating opened containers."

"Lovely little place with interesting rooms. Certainly quirky and not handicap accessible but it is a very old building. Staff was lovely and reached out to see if I needed a late check in. Loved that they actually showed me the room and how everything worked (air conditioning/TV). Slept wonderfully and the muffins/scones from the bakery down the street are amazing. Had our coffee/scone sitting on the front porch watching it rain - perfect! Will defiantly stay here again when we are in Lanesboro, but will stay more than one night next time…."
