Spindrift is a charming and well positioned holiday home, ideally situated for exploring the Dorset coast. Just a short walk from the dog friendly Smallmouth Bay; a popular sheltered beach with warm waters, making it a great spot for families and dog walkers all year round. A choice of beach cafe's and seafood restaurants are on your doorstep, along with beaches for sea swimming and watersports, just steps from the front door!
Once inside, Spindrift is welcoming and well equipped. Set over three floors, the ground floor comprises a cosy living room, with large bay window, flat screen smart TV and the added bonus of a wood burning stove for the cooler months. The hallway leads to the dining room, with an extendable dining table to seat 6 people. Through the dining room is the kitchen at the back of the house. There is also a useful storage and utility area leading off the kitchen, complete with washing machine, sink and freezer along with hanging racks for wetsuits, bikes, muddy boots and watersports equipment.
Up to the first floor is the master en-suite double bedroom, with en-suite shower room and glimpses of the sea. Also on the first floor is a single bedroom, and newly installed bathroom complete with bath and overhead shower. Up to the second floor, is the third bedroom, complete with twin beds and flooded with natural light from overhead skylight windows (with blinds for night time), sea views.
There is a small area at the front of the house to sit outside and enjoy a cup of tea, the property also faces onto a large grassed area and is only a few steps from the Rodwell Trail which leads all the way into Weymouth in one direction and Portland in the other.

Living Room; Living room with bay window, sofa seating, Smart TV, Wood Burner (we provide a starter pack of logs, kindling and firelighters for your stay, further supplies can be purchased from local supermarkets)
Bedrooms; Three bedrooms, one double en-suite, one single and one twin.
Bathrooms; Family bathroom; newly fitted bathroom with bath and overhead shower, wash hand basin with mirror, heated towel rail and WC. Master bedroom en-suite; walk in shower, wash hand basin with mirror, heated towel rail and WC.
Utility Room; There is a large utility area with a washing machine, freezer and a sink, which can be used to securely store bikes, prams, dog beds, paddle boards and muddy boots! There is also a hosepipe and hanging space for washing off wetsuits and kayaks.
Bedding and Towels; Provided, please bring your own beach towels
Fuel; Electric and gas
Travel Cot and Highchair; Provided, please bring your own cot bedding. There is also a fitted stairgate at the bottom of the stairs. The travel cot is a playpen style travel cot.
Outside; There is a small patio with a bench at the front of the property, suitable for 2 people. The property is also opposite a grassed area, ideal for dogs.
Beach Essentials; The owner also provides beach essentials for you to use throughout your stay, including fold out chairs, picnic basket, picnic blanket, flasks for hot drinks and a trolley to transport it all in. You can easily walk to the nearby beach, in around 2 minutes.
Parking; There is private parking for one medium size car, if you have a larger car or if you have more than 1 car, there is ample on street parking just across to the road from the cottage in a very private residential street (please ask for more information)

From Weymouth; Follow signs for Portland, taking the Portland Road out of Weymouth, up past ASDA following signs for Portland the entire way. When you reach Wyke Regis, follow the main Portland road through Wyke, until you reach the left turning for 'Ferrybridge Cottages' just before a set of traffic lights opposite the 'Central' Store on your right (it is signposted from the main road). Take the left turning into Ferrybridge Cottages.
