"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "A nice welcome to the Hotel. The room was clean and attractive and I liked the shower. Breakfast was hot and well served. We opted for the evening meal for our short stay and was 'home cooking' style . There is a bar so we could order drinks with the meal. "

Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. "Kingfisher Nook was idyllic to say the least! Spotlessly clean, and a lovely welcome from the owner which included a vase of flowers, some cookies, and a personal message in scrabble letters on the fridge! Everything you need is provided for. The views from the back of the cottage were superb. We were blessed with wonderful weather which made the whole week even more perfect.
