"Wonderful location. Friendly, helpful staff who are happy to have a chat and share their knowledge of the area. Loved being able to wake up to the sounds of the birds and watch the kangaroos grazing only meters away while having a morning cuppa. Will definitely recommended this location to friends and family visiting the island. "

"The property was confusing to find at first. A sign at the entrance way would have been most helpful. The studio was very comfortable and peaceful. Love the remoteness and the beach area."

"We visited from the US as a family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. We loved the remoteness of the property and seeing the kangaroo & echidna right out the window. If you’re a bird watcher, there is plenty to see! Accommodations were top notch. Excellent quality linens and really comfortable beds. We would stay again if visiting KI in the future. We brought all our groceries from Adelaide which worked out really well. Such a nice welcome tray of local from Yael, the host & we had to go buy 3 more packages of the local figs because they were so delicious! Really nice experience. "

"Greatest place on Kangaroo Island, a lot of wildlife around. The house is large, clean and modern, we really enjoyed our stay there."

"If you love an amazing view then this is the place that you want to stay. You could spend hours just watching the changing view during the day. We had a wallaby and her joey feed around the cabin which was lovely. Easy walk to the beach to enjoy either the beautiful beach or to enjoy some fishing. The bed was comfy but the couches could do with an update. We were lucky enough to not have anyone else in the other cabin as there is not enough separation or privacy if there was someone else there. Overall a wonderful stay but is starting to feel in need of a little TLC. "
