The home was much bigger than expected, great layout and WOW, that master bath! We were pleasantly surprised at the bonus space in the shop and overall wished we had decided to stay all nights of our trip there! Thanks so much for sharing your gorgeous property!
We flew into Bozeman and stayed overnight to start an early morning in Yellowstone. This was the perfect place to accomplish that goal.
We had a late night Wildlife issue and the owner was very responsive in spite of the late hour. We would select this location again.
Love the property, check in was super easy. The host left plenty of helpful hints. We did have a question about the heat but Dustin was super responsive and we got it fixed right away. The home had 2 canisters of bear spray you could borrow if needed (I hear they run about $40/ea in the area). The fridge also had extra ice/ice packs for your cooler. Great stock, great space, plenty of room for my guests. Thank you, Dustin, for lending your home to us!
Great location. We spent 4 days discovering Yellowstone and then came back to the cabin. Lots of great eating in West Yellowstone. Very comfortable cabin. Granddaughter said the bathroom was the nicest she had ever seen.
Our family had such a great time exploring Yellowstone, especially thanks to this perfect home base. A hot tub in the snow! Comfy beds, loads of space, and a cozy log cabin vibe. We loved it!
We had 9 adults and 1 teenager and everyone in our family loved this nicely appointed home. There was plenty of space for all (& you could have a dance party in the master bathroom!) We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after an exhausting day in the park. The arcade games were a unique touch. We would definitely return!
Everything we needed for our family to have a “headquarters” for our 3 days in Yellowstone. Plenty of sleeping options and the master bedroom and bathroom was incredibly spacious and high end! We loved every minute and wished we could have stayed longer! Hopefully we’ll be back!
This house is great! We underutilized it unfortunately because we were busy in the park. Kitchen bathroom and bedroom setup is very good. New appliances. Everything works as it should, nothing janky.
The owner is very easy to work with. We added a day on the front and back without issue. I’m very grateful for that. We had mechanical issues with our aircraft and were delayed a day. With their willingness to add a day made a difficult situation a little easier. Thanks
Our family of eight adults were quite comfortable in this house we called home while exploring Yellowstone. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and grill after many a full days’ activities! Great place to relax and unwind. Minutes from the West entrance and many of the primary landmarks within the park. Highly recommend visitors try the Running Bear Pancake House for breakfast/brunch and The Buffalo Bar for apps/drinks - both walking distance from the house.
This home is a perfect rental for exploring Yellowstone. About 2 minutes from the west entrance. Plenty of space for our group of 6 including 3 kids. Arcade games, poker table, strong WiFi, and hot tub were fun to come back to at the end of each day. Totally recommend this rental! West Yellowstone has good eating and shopping. Host provided regular communication.
This house was very roomy with plenty of beds. We were glad it had 2 full baths. We had a hard time finding a place for two separate older couples to stay but this place worked out great. It was nice that there was plenty of furniture for all of us to sit on in the living room.. it was very clean and comfortable. The host was readily available with all communications. I highly recommend this place to stay and see Yellowstone which is close nearby.
The house was clean and had everything that we needed. We stayed 5 nights in June. Our group of 10 consisted of two families with 6 kids between 7-12 years old. The location to the park and everything in town was perfect. After long days in the park, the kids enjoyed the games in the house. The house had bear spray and a cooler for use in the park which was very helpful. The host was responsive and answered our questions in a timely manner. We would stay here again.
Not only is it very close to Yellowstone, and adjacent an area with plenty of restaurants and stores, the property itself is perfectly accommodating. Everything is there that yu would need and all of the drawers and cabinets are labeled so everything is easy to find. Our group was my wife and I with our 3 grown children and 1 significant other. 6 adults. It has a great ensuite, two bedrooms with queens as well as a room with 2 bunkbeds (4 twins) and a cool loft with a door that closes and a bed. The hot tub and grill worked as advertised. Kitchen was well stocked with modern appliances. It has a big dining table, and a poker table as well as a separate garage-like space with darts, video games and couches. The host was very communicative. I highly recommend this rental.
We were a little bit worried about staying after reading a negative review, but our experience was completely the opposite. We had an excellent snowmobiling trip and loved the historic cabin. It was cozy, with sufficient heating, and a clean, relaxing hot tub complemented by thoughtful touches like slippers. The bathrooms had plenty of hot water, and despite the initially locked loft, (the host explained they had to lock it due to fire safety) the host promptly provided access after a brief explanation. Our kids loved it! It was a cool bonus despite not being advertised. The location near Yellowstone was perfect for our large group of 10, with secure, heated storage for our toys. Our host was super helpful with helping us find good trails for the whole family and communicated well throughout. We plan to return next summer to see the park!
This is a great property. We had 5 adults and two young children. Well stocked kitchen with all the essentials and very nice appliances. Only a few blocks from the entrance to YP and convenient to all the town. Large dining table so we could all sit and eat together. TV’s in just about every room. We looked at other accommodations while we were here and realized how fortunate we were to have booked this place. If we come back we will plan around the availability of this property. Another benefit is how responsive the owner was to our questions. We felt like we were in good hands. Many thanks to the owners for sharing their property with us.
Property advertised a loft with 2 beds that were unavailable and were part of our sleeping arrangements for our trip needless to say, 2 grown men on couches for 4 days doesn't work out so well. Master bath had NO hot water and 70% of the house was unable to maintain heat over 60 degrees. The hot tub was filthy and access not provided. The heated garage with tools and location was the only positive part of this rental.
We had a great time staying here. It is 5 minutes from the west Yellowstone entrance but also close some cool museums and wildlife sanctuary where my kids got to feed a bear (grizzly and wolf wildlife center) and trails. We loved the hot tub and they had a lot of towels for our group of 7 people including 3 kids under 10. The bathrooms are newly remodeled.
The only issue we had was the kitchen has some small electrical issues that cause a bit of inconvenience. The breakers would pop on the dishwasher and garbage disposal. We had to watch it to make sure the dishwasher actually ran. Once we figured that out it was fine. The washer and drier also were hard to use.
Our host was very responsive also and said someone will come look at the wiring. Overall it was the perfect place for our family and I would highly recommend it to anyone coming with kids. The games were very fun too and the soaking tube was great for soaking aching feet after a whole day in Yellowstone.
The property was in a good location, as advertised. The decor was nice and bed very comfortable. However, it did not seem ready for renters. The ice maker wasn't hooked up and there were no ice trays to make ice. Also, the dishwasher came out of the cabinet when the racks were pulled out to load or unload. The kitchen had not been cleaned thoroughly - the coffee pot still had remains of the last renters. There was dust on many of the surfaces. The owner was easy to reach with problems, but the lack of cleanliness and readiness was disappointing. If these problems were corrected this would be a nice place to stay!
