The South Fork Cabin:

Imagine absolutely no light pollution, revealing crystal clear nights exposing planets and endless stars. View details of the Milky Way Galaxy rarely seen in our world today. Picture lounging in the backyard, while you enjoy the chimes and chirps of the gorgeous forests that surround the cabin.

Please note this home does not have AC. Most homes in Montana do not have air conditioning. We encourage our guests of the South Fork Cabin to open the windows at night to enjoy the cool evening temperatures and close those windows during the day (including curtains/blinds) to keep cooler air inside the cabin. For your safety, please only open windows when you are present in the home. Additionally, homes will have fans located in the bedroom closets.

Yellowstone National Park Operating Dates:
The West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is open seasonally. The summer season typically runs from the 3rd Saturday in April until November 1st. The West Entrance then closes from November 1st until Mid-December. The entrance then reopens for the winter for oversnow travel season. The oversnow season typically runs from Mid-December until Mid-March. The entrance closes again until the opening day of the summer season in April. These dates are subject to change, please confirm park operating dates prior to booking your stay.
