Magnificent Views, 3,000 sqft home, 7 miles to West Yellowstone, Hot tub!

This charming vacation home is located just 7 miles west of West Yellowstone, MT, the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. Moose Crossing is a great spot for exploring the whole Yellowstone area. The home is surrounded by national forest trails for hiking, mountain biking, and snowmobiling. You are likely to see Moose, Elk and maybe even a bear in this incredible neighborhood!

Moose Crossing has radiant floor heating through the house. There is no air conditioning system in the home. "No Air conditioning you say?" It is difficult to find many homes in the area with air conditioning. AC is typically not needed as it cools off in the evening very comfortably, so everyone just opens the windows for the fresh evening mountain air! Even during the hottest weeks of summer, the highs may reach the 80's for a short time, but the temperature drops to the 40’s overnight.

The lodge has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The home fits 10 adults very comfortably. Between the 5 bedrooms there are: 2 King, 2 Queen, and 2 Twin sized beds. The upper level includes the Master bedroom and bath. The upstairs living area is an open concept living area with Kitchen, and 2 living room areas. The living room has spectacular views, a wood burning stove, and a 58 inch flat screen TV. Just off the kitchen is the very large deck with spectacular views of Lionhead Mountain and other peaks along the Continental Divide. 4 bedrooms & 2 baths are on the ground floor, known as an 'upside-down' floor plan.

In winter, you can snowmobile directly from the house and get onto hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Big Sky Ski area is only a 1 hour drive.

The Kitchen and dining area includes every amenity you may need for a meal. The grill is located on the impressive deck just off the kitchen. Wireless high speed internet available for all guests. We don't allow pets to keep our home pet hair and dander free.

We purchased the property in October 2019, so you could say it is under 'new management.' We have already made numerous upgrades to this already fantastic property. We just installed a 7 person hot tub and it feels amazing! We also have brand new flooring and furnishings. This place looks spectacular!

This wonderful area offers countless things to do outside of the lodge. You have hiking, shopping, restaurants, the Grizzly Discover Center, The West Yellowstone Adventure Park, fishing, wildlife viewing, boating, and horseback riding. The list keeps going.

We could go on about how extraordinary Yellowstone is, but you probably wouldn't be looking here if you haven't already heard!

Our current policy is no refund of your deposit with a few exceptions. After booking:
- You will have 72 hours to cancel for full refund.
-If you need to cancel after that, we will open up your dates, and if re-booked, issue a full refund.
-If your trip is effected by travel restrictions imposed by a government authority, we will also issue a full refund.
-We encourage travel insurance to cover trip cancellation due to illness.

This place was great! Our group of 10 from Wisconsin had a wonderful time staying at this property. It had plenty of room for all of us and the hot tub was great after our days of riding. Great Vacation House!
This was a great house for our family and friends to stay while we visited Yellowstone each day! The house was spacious and was well equipped with everything that we needed to make meals and to make us comfortable. The owners provide lots of little extras that were really helpful (like the fans for each of the bedrooms, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc...) We loved the hot tub too! We would stay here again, great house and great location!

This cabin is beautiful and has a view! You feel like you are in a tree house all the time. We watched storms roll in and thunder and lightening shows were amazing! Great for my five grandchildren, myself, daughter and sister-in-law. Spacious kitchen and living area. GREAT stay!

Perfect West Yellowstone Stay!!
This house was perfect! We have been to West Yellowstone in the past but this home had everything you would need! Plenty of room, hot tub was amazing. Highly recommend a winter trip and renting snowmobiles and using the local trails which come right up to the home! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place and would not change a thing!

A Fantastic Choice
Beautiful home, super comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of wood left for us to enjoy the wood stove. Owners were super responsive and made sure we got plowed out each morning. The snowfall was great and the hot tub even better! Could not recommend Moose Crossing more, especially for a large group. This house was top notch in every category.

Nice Family Yellowstone TRip
The location was great for Yellowstone, travel to the park did not take very long. IT was a spacious house with a good layout for a large group . We enjoyed the record player and the hot tub. Only comments were a lot of the kitchenware needed updating and the previous tenants left food in fridge and it wasn't clean. Otherwise nice stay, great communication from property owner.

Epic Family Vacation
Our family had been planning this Yellowstone vacation for almost 2 years. This house was the perfect location for us to enjoy all that the area has to offer. The layout of the house was perfect. The way the kitchen and living areas and outdoor patio was the perfect space for us to all enjoy each others company. The beds were comfortable and allowed us to rest up for our very busy days. The owners were communicative and we really appreciated this house. We spent our time enjoying the National Park, whitewater rafting and taking UTV's out into the nation forest. We also really enjoyed the Rodeo just down the street.

The house is in a great location.. very close to West Yellowstone and Island Park!! It was very spacious for our family of 7 and the views are absolutely beautiful!! It did get a bit warm in the afternoons having no air conditioning.. but cooled off comfortably at night! We purchased 2 box fans in Bozeman which we left at the property for other guests! There were other fans as well! We had a wonderful stay at Lazy Acres!! Thank you for sharing your home! We made sum lasting memories on our first trip to Yellowstone!!!

Perfect home base for Yellowstone!
This property was the perfect location for our family of 7 to retreat to after long days of exploring in Yellowstone National Park! Close to town & the west entrance without being right in the busyness. Such a beautifully decorated & comfortable home with a nice mountain view! This home had everything we needed and was easy to access. We also appreciate the suggestion from the owners to use the Gypsy app (now called GuideAlong) for the parks. It was like having our own private tour. We didn’t miss a thing, unless we chose to skip it. We will download more of their tours in the future. Highly recommend that as well! If you have a bigger group, you won’t regret booking this property. It was perfect!

Beautiful home but no a/c
First off, it was a beautiful place and we enjoyed being there. The house has NO a/c and we were there during a hot time. The house was 83 when we arrived on our first day. There were fans in each room. When it got cooler during the night it cooled off. The guidebook in the house said many of the houses did not have a/c but it would have been nice to know before booking. Overall, the house was nice and clean. I am sure it is perfect when it isn’t summertime.
