"This place is beautiful and quiet and well-staffed. We were delayed by two days due to bad weather, but the staff welcomed us with open arms and shifted our dates with no hassle. Our room is clean and comfortable. The pool is fabulous. And the location is convenient to the beach and on a quieter side of the island. Not to be missed is the included breakfast. Wow. You will not to hungry. "

"Loved the outdoor bathroom. The rooms are very comfortable. I like that there are only ~10 villas on site. Lovely breakfast served on the balcony each morning. Friendly staff. The only problem was that there was a lot of plastic and rubbish burn-off every day happening next door. This is not the hotels fault. However, every time we went outside to our bathroom, the smell was really bad and felt very unhealthy breathing it in. "

"Baba who runs Anatara is such a nice person, he made our stay so comfortable. Our villa was the best we have had in Bali, simply stunning. Very beautiful- breakfast was delivered in our villa every morning. Free bicycles to use. Recommend to use a horse and cart to get you to Anatara!"

"Horrible run down two storey family bungalow. Everything was broken! Dangerous ledder to climb to the upper floor. stayed one night and it was the worst on our 2 month Bali trip. Wanted to leave the same day but the manager refused to refund the money so we were forced to stay. Luckily we only booked 1 night. "Affordable stay near the beautiful cliffside Diamond beach. Simple amenities were welcome after travelling for most of the day to reach this side of nusa penida from bali. Receptionist and team were lovely and accommodating, and always went out of their way to help with taxis or fetch anything you needed from town. "The staff are amazing. We got a little good poisoning and they took very good care of us. Highly recommend. The only content I'll make is that the walls in the units are quite thin, so if you are on your honeymoon, may not be the best place."

"Lovely property and superb staff but the air con in the room was inefficient , the owners must have been aware of this as there were portable fans in the room. There was also no working TV in my room, staff tried their best but could not get it working. On the second day there was a power outage on the island so all the hotels had problems but the issues above were there from day one. Fix the air con and internet and this place would be perfect."

"The staff was nice, the amenities felt like they weren’t needed or just could upgrade for an extra fee for people that didn’t bring toothbrushes etc but the facility was good. Quiet. Staff was super nice. Not pushy at all. Unlike all over the island. "

"We loved out stay at Atuh Cottage. The owner and his wife were incredible and the food at the restaurant was amazing! During our stay the owner arranged all of our day trips and transportation so we could relax the entire trip. The rooms were spotless and the AC worked great! I highly recommend you stay here on your next trip to Nusa Penida! "

"This property has great potential. Location is gorgeous, rooms are spacious and the property is expansive. However, a few things were a complete let down. Despite being the only guests on the property, our room was still not ready by the time we showed up at 3 PM and the shower handle broke. "We loved staying at Samala! The villas were spacious and well thought out. The included breakfast was very generous and tasty. The staff were helpful and there was good cleaning service. A lovely peaceful oasis

"This hotel is in a beautiful setting with waves crashing in on the beach while you relax in the infinity pool overlooking the beach, very relaxing. Staff were great, very helpful and friendly and ready to engage. Breakfast selection was excellent and delicious. Dinner selection was also good. We visited off season and the hotel was quiet but We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it without hesitation"

"Fantastic place would highly recommend, huge pool and has a great beach area as well. Very friendly staff, we did a couple of the day trips by boat which was highly enjoyable. Very big rooms, everything was modern and the food menu was great"

"The wow factor hits you the moment you arrive. From a spacious lobby with lit water features immaculately clean, to greetings from smiling staff. It's right on the beach front, with true infinity pools, that lead your eye right out to the sea. Open air restaurant for three meals a day with sumptuous breakfast included. Plenty of variety and styles. The rooms are either small villas by the see through pool, or at the other end, a 4 storey hotel block with rooms having a sea view & 4 small villas on the ground floor with their own pool. We had an oceanview deluxe room, completely facing west to catch the sunsets every night. The rooms are huge with a safe, kettle, fridge, TV and large closet, plenty of cupboard & drawer space. There are tea & coffee supplies & bottles of fresh water every day. Beach towels are provided. The bathrooms are the biggest I've ever seen, all capable of taking wheelchairs should you need it, &all floors are serviced by elevators. There is a rooftop gym, cliff restaurant, paid for airport shuttles, tours to the nearby Gili Islands & excellent snorkelling right off the beach. The resort rooms all have balconies & there are really comfortable day beds, in the immaculate grounds & by the pools, which also has a swim up bar. The staff are amazing, Fery & Dwi at the restaurant to name just two. The staff are this hotels biggest assets. One downside is there are NO USB charging sockets in the rooms, so bring a plug/lead for the tv USB socket"
