Located on Manna Hill Farm, Hillside Hideout by Tiny Away is a cozy tiny home just 30 minutes away from Devonport city, in the rural locality of West Kentish. Surrounded by pastures and paddocks, it offers ever-changing views of Mt Roland and the scenic countryside.
This retreat provides easy access to iconic Tasmanian landmarks like Cradle Mountain, Mersey Bluff Lighthouse, The Tasmanian Arboretum, Tasmazia, and Mole Creek Caves for both relaxation and exploration.
A comfortable, 139-square-foot accommodation is set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

Guests can access the tiny house and surrounding areas. Guests have access to the farm spaces but should respect the privacy of other guests in nearby cottages and the Manager's Residence.

By Public Transport:
- Guests will need their own transport as there is no taxi service or public transport available from the nearest town to the property.
By Flight:
- The closest major airport is Devonport Airport, about a 45-minute drive to the property. From there, car rental is recommended for reaching West Kentish.

- Smoking is not allowed on the property
- There is a friendly farm dog on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Recycling bins are provided and composting bins are near the vegetable gardens
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny home/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Mobile reception has a good signal for Telstra and Optus; Weak signals for Vodafone and no signals for the rest
-The managers live on the property and there are other accommodation cottages on the property and near the accommodation area
