Welcome to A Shore Thing! This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath Ranch with Central AC in West Harwich is two homes away from Grey Neck Beach and a short walk to Earle Road Beach!

Owners Share Why I Love My Home:
The location! The short 2 minute walk to the beach makes quick trips back and forth to the house a breeze! It is easy to refill the cooler or to grab the forgotten sunblock. We also love that Grey Neck Road is adjacent to the beautiful Shore Road – it makes for a great daily walk! The backyard! The large fenced-in yard is ideal for the kids and dogs to roam safely and works perfectly for a friendly game of whiffle ball.

Let Us Tell You About This Home:
Near the bend of a quiet street on a meticulously manicured lot and only two homes away from the ocean near Grey Neck Beach sits a quintessential Cape with a bright blue door and driveway space for two to three cars.

You immediately feel welcomed to this family home as you enter into the open living space featuring ship lap walls. With lots of seating, a flat screen TV and fireplace with adjacent shelving containing books and games, the space facilitates the memories you will gain during your vacation.

Past the living room is a dining nook with seating for six and flooded with the light coming through the sliding glass door. The kitchen is open to the dining area and radiates warmth with its wood cabinetry and breakfast bar. It is a classic summer home kitchen but with the gleam of new stainless steel appliances and a walk through pantry space as you access the stairs to the lower level and laundry area.

Through the sliding glass door is the sunroom featuring three walls of windows, a flat screen TV and both dining and seating areas adorned with white wicker furniture. There is driveway and backyard access through the door on the side of this room which leads to the private lot, stone patio and wooden deck platform for grilling on the gas grill and use of the outdoor shower which has been playfully decorated with buoys. There is also a small shed for storage of outdoor accessories like bikes or kayaks.

Back inside and venturing down the hallway from the dining room, you will first encounter the two bathrooms of the home. There is a half bath conveniently located off of the main living spaces and a neighboring full bathroom that is impressively spacious and features an easily accessible (low profile entry) shower that runs the length of one wall and touts three shower heads (two on opposite walls and one on the ceiling) as well as a built in bench.

At the end of the hall are the three bedrooms. The primary bedroom is incredibly spacious featuring a Queen-sized bed, ample storage, a flat screen TV and a reading nook with an antique desk.

The next bedroom features a Queen-sized bed, large dresser and lots of light through a wall of windows.

The last bedroom features two Twin-sized beds, tall dresser, closet and the quaint shiplap walls that also adorn the living room.

Harwich in August
Location was very good, close to a relatively private beach, little over a mile to closest town, we had dogs with us (frenchies), I wish the yard would have been fenced in, just made it more difficult letting them out. We thought we had a King size bed and it ended up being a Queen, so that wasn't the greatest. The front door needs to be adjusted to make it easier to open and close. Other than that, the place was perfect, new bathrooms, A/C worked great. Plenty of room for family of 5. Suggestions to property owners, add an awning to the back to provide some shade. Fence in the backyard if you are going to be pet friendly. Update the master bedroom with a King size bed. Couch in living room could be updated a little as well.
