"The house is sprawling, plenty of first floor room, and a top level apartment was great for a family’s needing their own space. The rooms were comfortable and each had a lake view. The kitchen pantry was well stocked with little extras, and there was plenty of fridge storage with two refrigerators. The lake is set behind the house with a huge yard that accommodates many games. The dock and swimming area were tidy, and they had plenty of water boats (boards,kayaks,canoes) and life preservers....

"This cabin is a perfect location for a peaceful and beautiful getaway and it has all you need to enjoy friends and family. We came with bags of groceries and cooked, puzzled, snowshoed, relaxed, recharged our body batteries and reconnected with our friends. Its great for families with children or for adult getaways and it has all you need. If you like to cook its wonderful as the kitchen is well equipped and spacious. "My family and I came to stay over Christmas week hoping for (and luckily, receiving) a white Christmas for the first time with our kids. The home is very well appointed and modern, with cozy furnishings and a stocked kitchen which allowed us to spend the holidays in total comfort as we watched the snow and opened presents. "Spent a few days here to ski at Stowe. It was everything that was advertised. Clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. We felt safe during our stay. Enjoyed the TV and playing the games provided. Convenient to local eateries and stores. Easy drive to Stowe. The hosts were available if needed. Would definitely stay again!"

"We very much enjoyed our tranquil setting in this lovely cabin on the lake. The place has many recent updates - bathrooms, a new sitting room, fixtures, etc. - which add to the experience. The location on a peninsula, jutting into a mountain-surrounded pond, is unique and picturesque. We went to Jay Peak, which was 40 minutes away. We enjoyed a fun game of ping pong and whiling away the hours with a good book, overlooking the pond. Thanks for a great stay!"

"On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:...

"This unity was extremely clean and comfortable. We were there for my sons hockey tournament at Jay Peak and we received nearly a foot of snow during our visit. I contacted the property owner because my arm is broken and they promptly sent out a nice man to help shovel us out. There is also a shuttle that picks you up right outside and will take you around the area so we didn't have to drive in the snowy conditions. You can also walk right out onto the mountain and ski down to the ski lifts....
