The Pearl was a great room with its own private bathroom. The property has a great kitchen area, front porch, and library/den for relaxing that are available to all guests. We would definitely return. The only recommendation I have is to have a full length mirror in the room as a lot of wedding guests stay at this property. A minor recommendation, but throwing it out there. Such a great stay!! Thank you for being so accommodating!

My GF and I decided to stay another night in NJ before heading to her family’s rental. It was the perfect little spot. Cozy, clean and quiet neighborhood. Check-in was very easy and the communication was great. The Pearl is a great sized space for two people. Plenty of room, yet cozy. The bathroom is cute and a decent size. I thought the bed was a little too soft but my GF loved it. The hot tub was a nice touch and relaxing after a long travel day. The house was very clean with charming decor. You could hear other guests walking around upstairs but it was quiet at bedtime and we both slept very well. We didn’t stay long enough to use the kitchen or the washer/dryer but that would be a big plus for a multi day stay. I would recommend this place for anyone who needs to stay somewhere in the area. The price is great and the host and house were wonderful. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely accomodations

If you like old houses, this is an excellent place to stay. Bed is comfy and our room had a private bathroom. Small refrigerator came in handy too! We would definitely stay again if we need a place to stay in the area. It’s close enough for trips to LBI, Atlantic City or Smithville.

We were very pleased to see that the property was even nicer than the on line pictures. It was very comfortable and cozy, yet spacious at the same time. We would like to recommend this to others but feel that it might lessen our chances of availability for our next trip. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect weekend getaway

This house is a great option for couples who want to do a weekend at LBI and not pay the ridiculous room fees on the island. Dawn did a great job renovating this house into a B&B. It was clean and all amenities that we needed. It’s a great opportunity to experience both LBI and life off the island.

Perfect & comfortable!

Needed a place to stay close to Stafford Twp. Arts Center, and this was perfect! Dawn was communicative and check in was super easy. Bed was comfy, room was clean and perfect for the weekend! Towels were provided, and the room had a mini fridge and great TV! Will book again next time I am in the area!

A Hidden Gem

My best friend and I can’t stop raving about Dawn’s VRBO. She was very kind, patient, and tentative, & an overall great host. The property and room were beautiful. Exactly as pictured, clean, and the coffee machine was great. I felt safe the entire time. No issues at all and hope we were good renters. We will be back!

Quick last minute getaway

This property was perfect for a last minute weekend getaway for me and my 22 year old daughter! The room was very spacious. Check in was easy and it was a great spot for us to sleep and shower and explore the beach during the day! Definitely a good drive to the beaches, but doable for an in-expensive weekend stay! The room was very clean and the website was accurate! Would definitely recommend!

Long Weekend at LBI

We came out to LBI to try out our new SUPs, and needed last minute accomodations. Dawn's home was perfect. Close proximity to LBI without the crowds and traffic. We stayed in the Pearl room. The home and grounds are very clean and well maintained. Everything works as it is supposed to. Nearby, on Dock Road, there is a put-in for SUPs and kayaks into a sheltered channel that is very peaceful. We will definitely be coming back!

Overnights okay - not for longer stays

Initially we were unable to communicate with host through VRBO website and so we arrived at location without any instructions from host on how to get in. Luckily another tenant let us in. The room was very dark, with only three dimly lit lamps. Since we were on the ground floor, we were unable to open the curtains for light. The bathroom was very small; the shower barely able to wash in as it too was small. We were given 1 bath towel and wash cloth each and only one hand towel. The bath towel was full of dark blue lint (it looked brand new) and it hadn’t been washed beforehand. The lint got all over my white robe. The chair by the desk was stained and filthy. The host was very difficult to communicate with, so any problems we had could not be solved. The price, while reasonable, was an indication of the poor quality of this room, rather than a good deal. I would not stay here again.
