"Overall the property was what we expected. Ideal for two persons, doing local daytrips. Basic, safe, clean with a small kitchen, equipped for 2 persons. Clean linen and a comfortable double bed. Typical the apartments one would find in Europe. We did not use the loose blanket on the bed, but it is in need of a wash."

"OUR ROOM WINDOW WAS ABOUT 5 METRES AWAY FROM MAIN GATE. FROM 5 AM IN THE MORNING , TILL AFTER 12PM AT NIGHT THAT GATE OPEN AND CLOSES WITH A MASSIVE NOICE. NO REST WHAT SO EVER. VERY CLEAN AND NEAT. NO SERVICE IN 7 DAYS . TOWELS ONE PER PERSON AND NO HAIRDRYER OR POOL TOWELS. DONT THINK I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN IF ITS FOR A HOLIDAY, AND YOU WANT TO REST . BUSINESS TRIP WILL MAYBE A DIFFERENT STORY. PARKING WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE PERMANENT RESIDENTS . BODYCORPORATE WANTED TO CLAMP OUR WHEELS...

"What an amazing place and area. Safe environment able to sleep with doors open and fall asleep with sound of waves. Very private beach area. Unit has everything needed and more. "

"Great location, good quality accommodation, and very helpful staff. Maybe a little more info when booking is confirmed via a site like expedia as you need to go to the company hotel to check in and not the cottages. However otherwise all good."

"Another lovely stay at Darling Lodge with Stephan and Oliver. Very welcoming. Good advice on restaurants The Old Forge in Darling and The Beach House in Yzerfontein Dont miss the Darling Museum very close by. It's a real gem!"

a great place to relax round the pool

"friendly efficient check in, lovely room with fab sea view, efficient A/C which heated when necessary. had originally booked one night but so enjoyed myself ended up staying for three. property well maintained and small pool had enough shade to make relaxing and reading a book enjoyable. food in restaurant excellent and reasonably priced. thoroughly recommended "

"Such a beautiful location and the hotel could do so much better. Disappointing as the windows in the room were dirty so it ruined the beautiful view. Bathroom ceiling had a hole and sheets had stains. The outside and lounge areas are lovely. "

A hidden gem, with a fabulous host

"This is the most beautiful, personal hidden gem. The property sits on a residential street, and as soon as you step through the gate you truly feel as though are a guest in someone's home. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a huge bed. The view onto the golf course is peaceful and beautiful. We were cooked breakfast at a time of our choice and had some wonderful coffee, yoghurt, fruit eggs and bacon. Nothing was too much trouble. When we are back in Langebaan, we are heading straight here. "
