"We booked this property for a 4 week stay and we were absolutely delighted. The property is new to the market thus everything about the property beds, linen, decor were all first class. The view over Richmond Town is simply to die for and although we had a few teething issues our hosts Matt and Clare dealt with them swiftly and efficiently. They were the perfect hosts. "The lodge was perfect. Spotlessly clean and pretty and everything you could need. However what made our holiday absolutely perfect was the garden the lodge is set in. Stunningly beautiful, magical grounds that you could see from all sides of the lodge. With a folly perfect for an outdoor fire and BBQ. Central to all of the North East and Durham attractions. I have been twice now and can’t wait to go again. Magical!"

"The property was in a great position in the centre of Richmond, yet very quiet. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The cottage has a garage but our car didn’t fit into it. Parking was quite a challenge sometimes,finding somewhere close not on a zoned area."

"Excellent venue with lots of parking. Very clean and spacious. This was a last minute booking and communication was poor. You don't get access instructions until you pay a waiver that costs either an additional £10 or £25 depending on what you choose. And then you have to chase to get it back. Sounds a bit of a con to me but I had no choice. Overall though the property was excellent, just let down by a poor letting agent in my opinion."

"Nice and comfortable place with everything you need, convenient stores 5 mins walk, there are bus stops, but I think is convenient to have a car and there is a great driveway next to the house and the beds are clean & comfortable. The only downside for me it’s not pet friendly anymore, she had a bad experience in the past with other guests and asked as soon as I arrived if my small dog would be kept in a crate during my stay. "All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall.
