"Excellent venue with lots of parking. Very clean and spacious. This was a last minute booking and communication was poor. You don't get access instructions until you pay a waiver that costs either an additional £10 or £25 depending on what you choose. And then you have to chase to get it back. Sounds a bit of a con to me but I had no choice. Overall though the property was excellent, just let down by a poor letting agent in my opinion."

"The lodge was perfect. Spotlessly clean and pretty and everything you could need. However what made our holiday absolutely perfect was the garden the lodge is set in. Stunningly beautiful, magical grounds that you could see from all sides of the lodge. With a folly perfect for an outdoor fire and BBQ. Central to all of the North East and Durham attractions. I have been twice now and can’t wait to go again. Magical!"

When we arrived, the bins were overflowing, and bags of rubbish had been piled up along the path. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage.
