Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Bridget, Bas and all the other staff we met were charming, friendly and accommodating, including agreeing to bring forward our stay at almost no notice even though we had a fixed, non-refundable booking through hotels.com. "Spotlessly clean room. Comfortable beds. Front bedrooms are a bit noisy as the property is on the main road, so had to sleep with the windows closed. Parking was on site, but a bit awkward especially if other drivers did not park in the marked spaces. Breakfast was ok, but a very strange system of ticking of choice of food on a blackboard, which was not very user friendly. Limited choice (e.g. only orange juice and only one cereal, only berries for fruit choice) and nothing left out to help...

"Wow, we had a 3 bedroom lodge with hot tub, and it was absolutely perfect 👌 Clean, spacious and beautiful views. "This is a really nice old fashioned pub style accomodation but has a really good chef and therefore very good food. Slightly above the average price but well worth it. However there are other local options for dining. The room overlooked the bay and you could see surfers in the distance along with the small harbour. The famous Lynton to Lynmouth railway is just round the corner and well worth a trip for the spectacular views. Will definitely go back at some point."

Fabulous place with lots to do.

"This was our second visit to the Mole, we stayed in the hotel, in the manor suite for our anniversary weekend. The room was amazing, private sauna and steam room, separate lounge, more like an apartment. Very Comfy. The resort itself is beautiful and all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We have booked a week to go back and try one of the lodges this time with the whole family. "

"Absolutely fabulous stay at this hotel. Super dog friendly, amazing sea views from our room and really friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. We already knew there wasn't a restaurant service, but lovely places to eat really close by. The room we had was huge with a big tv and great shower. The bed was big and super comfy. If i had to be picky, the carpet could do with an update as although clean and no smells was a bit stained, and it was too hot for me in the room (56). I would love to stay there again (so would my dog and partner 😀)"
