Die Lage war uns sehr gut. Man erreicht schnell den stadtkern mit vielen Restaurants. Außerdem eignet sich die Unterkunft auch gut für Ausflüge. Die Einrichtung und Sauberkeit sind in Ordnung.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und ordentlich, allerdings sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Es fehlte Duschgel, was trotz Nachfrage nicht gebracht wurde. Whirlpool im Zimmer gegen Aufpreis nutzbar.

Am besten hat uns der Blick aufs Schloss Wernigerode direkt vom Zimmer aus gefallen. Das Zimmer war sehr modern und praktisch eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker.

Wir erhielten ein Apartment direkt im Zentrum, wobei die Wohnungen im Haupthaus auch zentral liegen und super schön sind. Die Einrichtung ist sehr hochwertig, modern und kreativ. Es fehlt an nichts, wir haben uns über die Maßen wohlgefühlt. Zudem wurden wir freundlich und hilfsbereit empfangen, alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Es hat uns außerordentlich gefallen. Wir würden in Wernigerode wieder nur hier übernachten wollen. Beste Grüße von Claudia und Frank Herrmann (Besuch 17.-19.08.2018)

Toller Blick auf Wernigerode
Mit dem Auto sehr gut zu erreichen. Für ungeübte Spaziergänger wie uns eher anstrengend. ...aber Übung macht den Meister!!! Tagsüber fahren Busse bis fast vor die Tür. Super. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte Hotel-Niveau!!! Die Herbertsleute waren jederzeit ansprechbar.

Schickes Design, aber nicht immer funktional
Das rote Zimmer sieht so schick aus wie auf den Fotos (nur ist es kleiner, als es auf den Fotos erscheint - aber das ist ja meistens so). Es ist hell und vom Fenster kann man Schloss Wernigerode sehen. Die Farbe der stylischen Raumbeleuchtung kann man offenbar steuern - sicher schön, doch bei intuitiver Bedienung zeigten die Fernbedienungen keinerlei Wirkung und erklärt oder gar gezeigt wurde uns einleitend auch nicht, wie es geht. Bei sonnigem Wetter wird es schon im Mai recht warm im Zimmer; lüften kann man jedoch nur begrenzt, da sich nur zwei der Fenster auf Kipp stellen lassen. Das kleine runde Waschbecken und der Wasserhahn im Badezimmer sind nicht sehr praktisch, denn das Wasser spritzt zu einem erheblichen Teil neben das Becken. Die Benutzung der Badewanne und ihrer Whirlfunktion kostest zusätzlich, das Duschen aber glücklicherweise nicht. Das Badezimmer ist nur durch eine (teils mattierte) Glaswand vom Zimmer abgetrennt - etwas gewöhnungsbedürftg. Am störendsten aber ist, dass das Licht im Badezimmer durch einen Bewegungsmelder gesteuert wird. Wenn nachts jemand auf die Toilette geht, wird also fast unvermeidlich der bzw. die andere Zimmerbewohner(in) wach, da wegen der Glaswand des Badezimmers das Schlafzimmer ebenfalls voll erleuchtet wird und man dies wegen des Bewegungsmelders auch nicht verhindern kann.
