The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. "Great place to stay in Basel. Close to public transportation. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed had all basic amenities for a family of 4. A full size kitchen , washer dryer was awesome. The AC was not that good but a fan in the room helped. It would have been great to have a fan in each room. We kept the windows slightly open to let some fresh cool air in at night. "The apartment is located close to everything we needed and our host was lovely! She had maps prepared for us and also got us city passes before we arrived (half off to the zoo, museums, etc).
