"Amazing small cosy hotel, be sure to book mountain side views as it is one of the best views in the area! Breakfast was yummy with fresh eggs to order. Staff lovely and polite. Spa is included which is a great touch, the hot tub was amazing facing the mountains and one of the main reasons I booked this place, although it was cold a couple of nights, they had just had a new and larger hot tub installed so were some teething issues I think, but they made sure it was warm when asked in advance....

"The Alphenruhe was very nice. We loved the couple who runs the hotel. Yanna and Andreas, (spelling ?). The breakfast was very good. You can get fresh eggs made. The room was very clean. The bed very comfortable. We had a room with a balcony which was great. Its walkable to the train depending on your ability. It is about a 7 minute walk but part is up hill."

"Right by train station and center of town, excellent location and views were incredible - - Really spectacular views... there is noise in this location (we stayed during the World Cup) so noise was extreme for 2 days, but the other days it was very nice and quiet during the night.
