"Hotel and grounds lovely, very peaceful. I booked a table for the 1762 menu and when we sat down to dinner we were told it was not available. I made a huge mistake booking the wrong dates to visit the follies i had even enquired at the hotel but they failed to mention they were not open on the dates i booked. Staff were great though especially Dominica xx "

"The room was good except that it was very cold, the radiator was turned up high but the room never got warm. The duvet was only Summer weight so we had to use a towel and our coats to try and keep warm. Breakfast was continental and good, but a full English would have been preferred after a cold night! The ladies who served breakfast were lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. "

"We had a lovely stay at Anton B&B, we were made very welcome. Louise & her Partner have gone ‘above & beyond’ with all the little touches. The breakfast menu was huge for such a small place and everything that we ate was absolutely delicious. We’ll most definitely visit again when in the area."

"Lovely hotel. Parking easy. Really quiet. Easy access to the town. Stayed for 3 nights. One day my room wasn’t cleaned despite the sign I left on the door. TV a bit small. Internet access good. Overall I can recommend the hotel and I would stay again. "

"Overall, I was happy with my stay and would stay again! The car park was busy but I found parking without a problem. The evening meal was delicious, as was the breakfast. I would go as far to say the full English was one of the best I've had..... Service was unbeatable."

"Room looks amazing, cleanliness is fair. Cleaner do a great job, walls could just do will a touchup of paint. Heating didn't work at through our stay, however there was an electric heater. But to use this would come them a fortune. Service in the bar was friendly and service amazing. Food was fantastic, they also had a great selection of beers for those who like that sort of thing. "We stayed on a very quiet evening mid January for dinner, bed and breakfast. I imagine the hotel would be very different on a busy day in summer when it was full. We had a fantastic relaxing stay. Great shower, comfortable bed and spacious room. We enjoyed our cooked breakfast - other items were limited due to how quiet the hotel was I think. "

Beautiful and comfortable stay

"The property is absolutely sunning, fabulous kitchen with aga, lots of living space and very comfortable beds. Everything was very clean and we had almost everything we could need for our weekend break. A couple more large pans for cooking for 12 people would have been handy."
