We had a great time! The cabin is cozy and the trails near by are wonderful. The cabin has everything we would have needed, towels, microwave and stove/ oven, Keurig, coffee maker, utensils and cookware, tv and DVD player. We stayed 3 nights and only left for the trails. Will definitely come back.
Cabin was small but very cool set up. Great use of space. Very well kept up and clean. Large grocery store and gas within a mile of the cabin. Really enjoyed the stay. We stayed with my wife, myself, and our teen son and didn't really feel cramped. If you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny house, definitely check it out!

Great location close to gas station, jerky store and fishing spots. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lot of nearby options for things to do. Enjoyed a 2 night fishing trip. Very nice cabin. Love the back porch/fire pit setup. We ended up grilling dinner every night. We were even able to watch the Michigan game at the cabin. The crystal clear night sky made for an amazing view of the stars that you can't see in the city. Awesome place, we definitely plan on coming back. Thank you!
We totally loved the place and will be back. That being said, a few things could be better upkept. The portable a/c in the closet was quite dirty and a bit of a pain to set up. The water is fine for washing and the bathroom but dont plan on drinking it if avoidable. Tall people will find it tricky to navigate in some spots. Main thing to remember is it is a cabin and feels as such. Luxury it is not. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Okay
My allergies kicked up and we could only stay one night of our two night stay
Me and my husband enjoyed the cabin and the area. The only issue we had was that the listing stated that there was Wi-Fi. Which Is something that was needed for my husbands job. Due to his position he needed to be able to receive emails and there was limited cell service so Wi-Fi was important. There was a tab on the booking that stated if you have not received the Wi-Fi instructions to message the host. The day before our arrival I messaged the host for the information and was told “there is no Wi-Fi” at this point is was to late to cancel and receive our money back. I just feel like the host should review the posting and make changes. We have used VRBO 3 times a year for approximately 6 yrs and not had any issues until now. We really enjoyed the cabin but feel like the stress of needing to find cell service to check emails took away from our time to enjoy the cabin.
The property was clean, well stocked and very cozy. Had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend. No internet or Wi-Fi so definitely an unplugged weekend. My only disappointment was in the picture it looked more secluded, in the middle of the woods but it’s actually in a neighborhood
Very comfy for 2, not certain 4 people can fit comfortably. Very accurate and timely info from the owner when I had inquiries. Be prepared to drive a bit to get to tourist destinations, but take advantage of the incredible forest you are located in. A very convenient grocery store is minutes from the A-frame (with a record setting amount of jerky). The backyard firepit is great and you will have all the essentials you need in the kitchen. The lockbox on the front porch is not operable. It may be time to shampoo the carpeting on the stairway up to the bedroom. Great value!
We loved this cabin/cottage, it was clean and nicely decorated. It was perfect for our anniversary weekend. Quiet neighborhood, and just about a mile and a half from the Dublin Store. We would stay again in this house. The only thing I could say negative about it is that it says in the amenities there is internet and there is no internet.
This little gem offers your choice of a multitude of things to do outside and keep you entertained for hours. We went there to hike in the Manistee forest. There we saw skiing,, ATV and dirt bike trails. The Pine and Manistee rivers for canoeing and fishing too. A cozy little cabin to relax in at the end of the day.. Thank you for sharing your cabin it was wonderful!
The place is beautiful! It's definitely small but incredibly cozy. The fireplace is fantastic and boy does it heat up the place. I highly recommend if you want to just get away and love nature.
I am a rather large person, so that made maneuvering around this cabin a little tricky, but I didn't mind too much. I was able to get a good rest from the chaos of reality, so I see my stay as a rousing success.
We stayed here to spend the weekend near Manistee to visit family. The cabin was cozy and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy a peaceful up north retreat. The kids loved hanging out by the fire making s'mores and the grill satisfied our easy dinners of brats and burgers. There was a DVD player to watch movies at night and a great store right up the street with the best jerky and anything you might need while there. The neighborhood was nice and the neighbors were friendly. There were no mosquitoes at all which was surprising and the owner was very helpful when needed. We would definitely stay here again!
Super cute cozy Cabin. Perfect for my husband and I. Could have used an air conditioner this weekend, house didn't get under 80 all weekend but we didn't let that stop us from enjoying ourselves.
The cabin was cozy and the weather worked out in our favor. Quiet neighborhood with neighbors that waved. Had a bonfire even though it was lightly raining and cooked supper over the fire. Rode our new RZR all over the place and Mel's Cafe for breakfast is a must! A great experience!
