Cabin has 3 bedrooms. 1st bedroom has a Queen bed and a twin with a doorwall that opens up to a large deck . 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and 3rd bedroom has twin beds Living room couch pulls out to a queen size bed. Wood burning Fireplace. Crystal lake just minutes away. Cable available.

1 full bath and 1/2 bath. Washer and Dryer on main floor. Has deck on 2nd floor. Bonfire pit & Playscape in yard. Air conditioning.

Located in the heart of Manistee National Forest. Near Cadillac & Manistee. Crystal Mountain & Caberfae Peak near by.

Manistee Riverwalk has shopping, restaurants, boating & Little River Casino.

Manistee National Forest
This is a great property for a family getaway in the Manistee National Forests region. There is a wonderful backyard and the up north feel cabin. We enjoyed our stay and all the wonders of the area.

Great Cabin
Great cabin tucked away in the woods. It was perfect for our canoeing weekend on the Pine River, and very close to the takeout at Low Bridge. Couldn't have asked for a better place for a guys weekend up north.

This small cabin was great for our 8 dads & husbands on our annual guys retreat weekend. Had everything we needed and the owners were extremely friendly, helpful & accommodating!

My Vacation Review
I would highly recommend this vacation home for anyone who wants to get away and still enjoy the "comforts of home". The owners of this home are very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with and they go the "extra mile" to make sure your stay here is very comfortable and enjoyable. Manistee is a great place to go, especially for those who love Michigan and nature.

Great stay
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend while attending a wedding in Wellston. The house was close to the area town and everywhere we needed to be. The house was fully furnished with everything that we had to do and make for the wedding. The only thing we didn’t like is not having time to enjoy the backyard. It would have been great to have a fire and relax out back for awhile!

Wellston Retreat
Trash can was left full outside cabin, gas Grill was also a mess. That being said this was a great experience, I have booked many rentals and this was one of the best. Remote location but close to river fishing , Big Lake fishing, ORV and Snow trails. Property manager was easy to contact and helpful.

Great Place! Close to Everything!
The cabin is great. It also had lots of stuff that we brought "just in case" ie coffee mugs, dish soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, firewood, towels (lots), blankets, knives, cutting boards etc... It was really nice to have a washer and dryer with laundry detergent for wet/dirty clothes. Great water pressure and hot water. Victoria is a super great owner. Communication with her was excellent. I would highly recommend!

Made for a great bachelor party weekend
My best friend wanted a relaxing weekend with the guys before his wedding and this was perfect. The property had a grill, large fire pit, kitchen stocked with utensils, plenty of sleeping space inside, was located on a big piece of land that abutted to woods, and was nearby to some fantastic tubing. The owner let us setup tents outside for extra guests for a relatively small additional fee so we were able to keep the whole group together. She was also very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend this property.

Upon entrance the interior appeared clean. But on our first night stay my daughter felt something crawling on her next. Upon investigation she saw mice droppings. Because of an early prior engagement we left early and did not return until late. My daughter refused to sleep in the house. She slept in the car and the next morning we were appalled at what we found. The new loaf of bread that was left on the countertop was bitten into. It was then we did some further investigation to find mice droppings just about everywhere. When we contacted the manager she expressed shocked as she has the place terminated three times a year. She could not believe that we left without giving her a chance to correct the situation and further stated that it could have been worse. It could have been a bear. We paid a little over $1100 for six nights but was forced to leave after two nights. We were refunded $600. That would cover the four nights we did not stay. We should not have to pay the cleaning fee. And for the stress and loss of food we should be rewarded the tax for the four nights we didn’t stay as well as the cleaning fee.

Rude owner. Not very comfortable home
This is my first review after staying in several different Vrbo homes each year for the past 5 or so years. First off the beds comfort level was ok at best. The 1/2 a bath is great if you are less than 5' tall. The ceilings are low and have ceiling fans, so again, good if you are 5' tall. The cook ware was horrible. And a neighbor across the street had music playing so loudly I had to put ear plugs in (fortunately had some)....with all that being said, the owner of this property emails me a nasty email upon our checkout to tell me she was keeping $25 of my deposit because we didn't wipe down counters or do dishes....I told her we did do dishes as we were leaving and I didn't want to put them away wet as she has no dishwashing machine, so I left them in sink to dry. Can't remember counters being dirty, but probably did need to be wiped. I asked the home owner where her checkout policy was, she stated it says to leave place as you found it... That could mean a lot of things...such as do I make my bed, clean the floors, dust, windows...every Vrbo I have ever stayed in, except this one has a chart in cabin with check out policy...upon leaving I looked for a checkout policy, checked Vrbo for checkout policy and found nothing.. so I did dishes and tidied up and left.. next day I get a very unprofessional email about the cleaning lady having to do dishes... My suggestion is look elsewhere for lodging...this isn't the type of person I care to support....and honestly, I can care less about the $25, it was the way the situation was handled. I gave two stars as I honestly feel that is how this place compares to other VRBO homes I've stayed in.

Wellston retreat!
This property was clean and inviting when we arrived. We chose this location because we wanted to be close to our family, but still maintain our own space. This location is only about 25 minutes from Manistee, and a couple minutes from Crystal lake. Perfect location and was a perfect little cabin in the woods.
