Island Bay Calm & Convenient. 2 mins walk to shops, 3 min drive to beaches!

We welcome you to stay in our self contained flat on the first floor of our house. We offer a family friendly environment where you can base yourself to enjoy the best of Wellington's south coast! The bottom garden is all yours while you stay (aside from a few compost dumps as we need!)

A 2 minute walk to the local cafe's and shops, and a 3 minute drive to the beautiful Island Bay beach and surrounds.

The bedroom is a generous size and has a medium firm foam Winkle mattress, and plenty of space for clothes with draws and a wardrobe. The couch in teh living area folds into a sofa bed, and we have a memory foam topper to make it a bit more comfy. Ideal for kids/teens more than adults in terms of size.

There is no washing machine or dryer. Please also note that to come down to the flat, you must go down around 20 steps, then another set of 6. This is Wellington! :) On street parking.

We are available to help with whatever you need, and are happy to interact as little or much as guided by guests. We are a Kiwi and Chilean family, so Spanish and English spoken. We do have small children, so prefer guests who are relatively quiet after 10pm and are ok with some sounds after 8am.

We also can offer some professional treatments, such as massage and acupuncture, as are licensed professionals in this area, and can bring down a treatment table and ensure your holiday is for rest and restoration!
