Cabin in the woods
True cabin with no central heat but had space heaters and nice gas stove. Entrance instructions were incomplete but we got quick assistance thru text. Town of Welches was great!!

Small Quiet Cabin
Although there were a few bumps like the hot tub being foggy and the dryer not working. It was a very quiet and peaceful place. All other amenities worked great and we had a wonderful stay!

Coziest Little Cabin!
Loved staying here. Was so cute and cozy and clean. Enjoyed cooking in rustic kitchen and soaking in the hottub under the stars.

Cute + Cozy Cabin
We had a great stay at this cabin! It had everything we needed and more. The heat worked great, the hot tub was perfect and the kitchen had all needed. We would totally come back and stay again! Contrary to other reviews, we felt it was very private. Thanks for letting us enjoy this place!

Definitely not a spot for rest and relaxation
Stayed a Tuesday and Wednesday night. Will definitely not be going back. No issues with Vacasa, just the home and neighborhood. The pictures of the home are staged and framed amazingly. Props to the photographer. This is no fault of the host or vacasa but the house had absolutely no privacy and the neighbors are terrible. Between the construction 20feet away and the middle of the night dirt bike racing up and down the street, this is not a spot for rest and relaxation. Best part of this house was

Lovely
The cabin was clean and comfy. Although the neighbors are pretty close it still seemed secluded. Hot tub was perfect. The kitchen has very little seasonings, so bring what you want.

Cute place
Property was fine what we needed. It's out dated, the bedrooms were very warm at night and the neighbors are very close and noisy. Seemed pricy for what we got.

It was alright
While we did not have a bad stay there were some questionable points along the way. We found food scraps discarded by the front door as well as outside by the porch. There were multiple spiderwebs that were in clear sight that had not been cleaned up all through the house. There was mold growing in the shower around the tub. The BBQ was not in working conditions. We found many dishes that were not cleaned fully and had residue or grease on them. We also found plastic wrap on the windows and saw that the window sills were not cleaned often. The exterior was in need of some landscaping and repair. The pictures are quite outdated and made the place seem cleaner than we felt it truly was. The hot tub was nice and had no issues there and the fireplace inside was very nice for heating up the house. Overall a very lack luster experience.

Quaint rustic cabin
Pros- It had a cute, clean, rustic interior. The bed was comfortable, and the hot tub was clean and hot. Furniture was comfortable, It is close to a grocery store, coffee and food. Cons- Not very private but good enough for us. The hot tub could use some privacy curtains or something. The front door lock was annoyingly tricky, and the windows were a bit drafty but expected for a cabin in the woods. Overall we would come back and recommend it to others.

Weekend Getaway
This is cute little cabin in the pretty Oregon backdrop. It is accurate in it's description. My girlfriend and I stayed for four days and enjoyed every bit. We did run into a few issues easily overcome, the back room breaker tripped due to the loading from heaters and lights being on at night. The electric fireplace did not want to work with us so we used the wood stove instead. There was plenty of wood, just needed kindling to get it started. It was close to lot's of amenities and snow capped slopes not far away. We would definitely go back!

Looking forward to renting the cabin again
Overall a quiet, pleasant location with a nice porch to sit outside on and enjoy the surroundings (including the watery sounds of the nearby creek) and fresh air. Used the porch wood stove regularly and ate most of our meals on the porch. Big bonus was a very friendly and well behaved black dog who lives nearby and visited us frequently to have fun sessions of playing fetch. The hot tub is great for relaxing your sore muscles in after a hard day of hiking the spectacular trails in the area. We hope to stay there again in the not too distant future.

Great cabin
This cabin is great. It has 2 big beds and plenty of kitchen equipment. The 2 things that would be nice to improve: (1) there are gigantic potholes on the road into the cabin's driveway. Please fill with gravel! (2) Would be nice if it had baking pans since there's an oven. We wanted to make some Pillsbury cinnamon rolls but there was no baking pan.

A funny little house
Funny little house with a lot of personality. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire table, bbq, everything was well stocked and it met our needs on this short trip. Minor complaints would be that it was hard to get comfortable on the living room furniture and listing it as waterfront/ creek or riverside property felt like a huge stretch and was one of the top two reasons we booked this property. That was a little disappointing and we spent quite a bit of unsuccessful time trying to get to the actual Salmon River.

Cute cabin, dog loved it
Very quaint, pretty roomy cabin! We sat on the back deck or bench looking at the woods the whole time. TV was Roku, so could log in to all your apps (oops! I forgot to logout! Ha!). Lots of towels, blankets, kitchen equipped, and even found a long dog lead buried in the ferns that we hooked up to the deck banister so it pup could explore and sleep in the moving sun patches. Neighbor's old lab came to say hello to our little guy. He was in heaven

Charming Cottage Near Mt. Hood
We enjoyed our stay at this little cabin in the woods. It was quaint and had everything we needed to relax. The house was cleaned and ready for us at check in. They provided plenty of towels, many kitchen amenities, and several box fans for air circulation. The hot tub was clean and ready for use. As advertised, this cabin is old but charming. Some features are outdated and minor repairs could be done. Some of the blinds do not work and the deck stairs are rotting. Easy fixes! All and all we were very happy with our stay!

Beautiful area- not the best cabin
We loved the deer and scenery though the cabin itself was pretty outdated and did not look like the pictures. It has a terrible slant to it as if the foundation isn’t solid. Also looks like the owner refinished it himself instead of getting the remodel professionally done. Beware if you are visiting when it’s warm. The only fan is in the living room. It was so hot in the bedrooms even with the windows open, we had to sleep on the floor in the living room. It is not secluded at all and the neighbors dogs hung out in the yard quite a bit. The hot tub was relaxing but my daughter said the water hadn’t been changed in 257 days per the hot tub settings. Not to mention every house in the surrounding area can watch you while you get in and out of the hot tub. It’s not always about where you stay but the memories you make.

Rustic cabin close to recreation
This older cabin was decently priced and convenient to access. It hasn't been updated though. The rooms are dark and there is no lighting in the living room, so I couldn't read my book by the fire. The overhead light in there is not functional and there are no lamps. The hot tub was welcome after long hikes but only half of the jets are working. I contacted the service department and they were going to look into it but it's possible the tub only has one pump (luckily I was by myself). The stovetop overhead exhaust fan was labeled as not working. It would have been nice to open windows, but few could be opened and those had broken screens or window sills filled with cobwebs and bugs so it was not desirable. Porch and eaves also covered with cobwebs. I probably won't stay here again.

Lack of privacy
2 stars because it was clean minus a couple spiders. However, the lack of privacy was very unfortunate and impacted the stay. The kitchen windows have no curtains or blinds or anything at all and from the kitchen, at least 2 cabins plus a road can see in. There was an instance where someone was walking on the road and kept their head turned in our direction and literally stared at us in the kitchen the entire time they walked by. It was very creepy. The front door has a curtain, HOWEVER, it doesn't even cover the window! 1/3 of the window is showing and you can see out right into another cabin which means they can see into the main space. Again unnerving. THIRD. The Jacuzzi. Yes it's a nice jacuzzi, HOWEVER, there is absolutely NO privacy. 3-4 very close by houses can see the jacuzzi AND ITS LITERALLY RIGHT AT THE ROAD WITH NO PRIVACY. Not even a privacy wall, nothing. Anyone at the road would be able to see you very clearly. The morning of the day of checkout, was woken up by some guy chopping wood outside the bedroom at what I believew as probably about the property line. Just a very weird experience. Went there to get away from the city and found it to have less privacy than in the city. Will not be back.

Quaint cabin
We really enjoyed coming home to the hot tub after long days of hiking. The kitchen was fully equipped so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. Plenty of toiletries also. We really liked this place.. very quaint and quiet. Highly recommend 😊
