Spring family ski trip
The property was perfect for our family of 3 couples, 3 kids and our dogs: very nice accommodations, in a beautiful area, and close (about 20 minutes) to 3 ski resorts!

Wonderful getaway
Everything was great! The location feels very private, hot tub was perfect, master bedroom especially is very nice, and great room area was perfect for our vacation of multiple families getting together.

Great cabin
Spacious cabin in a great location which worked out as a great value for our group of 5. The hot tub was a big hit, and the huge great room was very comfortable. And we loved sitting outside on the big deck covered by huge full-grown trees I would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay and love the Welches location so we can stay out of the traffic, but get to the ski/hike areas in a short time. Well equipped and mnmgt was easy to contact and work with. Would recommend.

We loved the view, the hot tub, and the fireplace. The holiday lights and decorations were a bonus! The dining table was nice and large for dinner gatherings and games. The kitchen is rustic and in need of an upgrade.

Perfect ski weekend
Great place for a large group. Huge table perfect for meals and games. The deck and hot tub were lovely. We had a small issue with power in one of the bedrooms when we first arrived but someone came over to help fix it right away. Good location just a few minutes off the highway but felt really tucked away and cozy. The preparation email tells you to bring firewood if you want to use the wood burning stove, but this place actually is just a pellet stove- and the pellets are provided so no need to bring firewood.

Bear Creek Lodge for Skiing Mt Hood

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and value were very good. Very comfortable space for 7 people. The rooms and bathrooms were nicely arranged for comfort and privacy. The space stayed warm (outside temperatures pretty mild in 30s-40s) through ample electric baseboard heating and a pellet stove in living room. Good basic pots and pans. It was a good stay with no hassles. Time to replace the grill, which was obviously a good model but needs at least a refresh on the burners. It works but not up to original design. Hot tub worked and accommodates 3 comfortably (due to design of seating).Primary bedroom/bathroom suite very spacious!Recommend

Spacious master. 3 bathrooms good. Kitchen equipped. Nice view out windows. Good heaters for cold mornings. Hot tub nice. Good deck. Nice area for food. Negative: During hot days, gets hot (living room fan too high.) Screen/Blind missing. Sun hits Master through skylights at 530am. Neighbor's dog down street comes out barking unfriendly every time try to walk by. TV set up has some problems. Salmon Road nearby great for running but one guy flashed my wife when she was alone and drove very slowly past her, so be careful.

Great home for a group stay.
The house and deck are great. Cozyyet big enough for everyone. We loved being able walk I would say the kitchen appliances all need updating as most at missing at least one knob and are pretty outdated. New washer and dryer made it quick and easy to dry clothes after using the hot tub. Would recommend some non-slip

Plenty of space in an inviting home with great detail like the wood carved front door. We loved being so close to the Salmon River and closer to Timothy Lake for final summer moments. (Stuff was very helpful except better direction regarding the TV is needed)

My Hood Area stay
Lovely home and spot with plenty of room for our 8 adults and one baby. Enjoyed the great room and out door deck with hot tub. Great location for hiking and fishing. We didn’t golf but also right on the course.

Family get away in the mountains

Right by a golf course, semi private, and close to stores and restaurants. This lodge was very clean and comfortable. Spacious enough for the kids to hang out and the adults to hang out. It came equipped with all kitchen necessities which is always a plus. The teens enjoyed the hot tub and it was well maintenced. Customer services from Hunter was great! I will rent again from this vacation rental.

Great mountain house getaway!
We loved our stay in Welches! The house was well equipped, with comfortable beds, a great, well-maintained hot tub, plenty of towels, games and comfy couches to lounge! The house is also in a great location near the grocery store, restaurants, bars and close to Mt. Hood. Definitely recommend!
