It still smelled our entire 4 night stay Our only other complain was not having a business room nor computer to check our e-mails nor departure flight information for going back home. "We were a bit concerned after booking because self check in, luggage lockers etc but all went very smoothly. Really great location for the bus and train stations. Really clean, there’s a lift. We missed having a kettle to make a cuppa but that’s all. Restaurants nearby….well, tbh, don’t bother. Italian terrible unless you want a pizza, indian not good and overpriced. "

"Good hotel overall. I did not find the stuff being too “welcoming “. Very convenient location. Almost next door to the main Zurich train station which made travel to other cities very easy. The room was small but that typical for an European hotels. One thing to be aware is that the rooms which are in the back of the hotel are facing a construction site. The start at 7 am. And some times the noises is substantial. The hidden gem of the hotel is the bar. There was always live music. "

"Wir haben dort eine schöne Herbstwoche verbracht. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und hat alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Umgebung gibt es jede Menge Wanderziele, die Schweiz ist nah, wen es in die Großstadt zieht, Basel, Zürich und Winterthur sind leicht erreichbar. Ein uriger Gasthof ist um die Ecke, weitere Restaurants sind leicht erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und werden noch einmal zurückkehren. "

"The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"
