This attractive, detached holiday cottage, located in the owner’s ground, is full of character and stylish features. Clewer is 2 miles from Cheddar, famous for cheese making and the magnificent gorge and caves. Nearby, the city of Wells has a 13th-century cathedral and many historic buildings. Other attractions include Glastonbury Tor and Abbey, the cities of Bath and Bristol, the lakes and birdlife of Chew Valley, and for walkers and cyclists, the many footpaths around the Mendips and Somerset Levels. This is a lovely holiday cottage which is close to local amenities and nature reserves.
This is a lovely holiday cottage which is close to local amenities and nature reserves. Provided you shut the gate after driving through the garden is fully enclosed. If you have a nervous dog though watch out for the owners dogs who want to meet your pet. The only reason for a slightly lower overall mark is the place just needs some TLC and attention to detail. The remote control in the lounge did not work and the bulb in the bedside lamp was working for example. Minor points I know which could so easily be sorted and make the place a 10

This is a very pretty, comfortable cottage and we enjoyed our stay here.
This is a very pretty, comfortable cottage and we enjoyed our stay here. There was an enclosed garden to the side of the cottage which was ideal for the dog. The large glass doors to the living room open out to the owners grounds, not the garden for the cottage. It is a short drive to the nearest village, and the nearby village of Wedmore is really lovely.
