Welcome to Riverbend Acres! Located in the town of Farmington in Waupaca, Wisconsin, this home sits on 6.5 acres with over 1500 feet of Waupaca River Frontage. Waupaca River is a Class A trout stream, and here you'll find several sought after fishing holes. The river is also great for tubing, kayaking or simply sitting and enjoying the view and sounds of nature. When you're done with your adventures for the day, you'll also have a hot tub on the back deck to sit in and relax.
Inside the home you'll find 5 bedrooms with fresh linens, two full bathrooms with plenty of towels for each guest, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area perfect for entertaining, a theater room with 120" projector screen/roku equipped projector and wood burning fireplace, finished basement with bar and laundry area, and even a secret room upstairs for the kiddos to play or camp out in!
Here, you're only 7 minutes away from the Chain O' Lakes (22 connected spring fed lakes) where you'll find endless opportunities for outdoor fun. Waupaca is also home to hiking trails, beaches, snowmobiling trails, art galleries, restaurants, parks, multiple golf courses, boat tours, gift shops, and museums.

Grandsons Wedding in Wisconson
Nice large house. Well furnished and decorated. Has elements that appealed to some of the younger crowd such as a massive screen for watching movies. Recommend it.

Riverside Acres -Waupaca
Our families stayed at Riverside Acres for a long weekend getaway. We had a wonderful time. The house fit everyone comfortably (from 6mo old to 70). There was plenty to do with toys for kids, room for outdoor games, a fire pit and a river walk. Nearby South Park Beach was a great outing too. The house was stocked with most anything we could need. Thanks to Kayla and Josh for sharing your beautiful home!

Great Weekend!
It was a great weekend for a birthday party for Adults. We visited downtown Waupaca but spent most of the day using the houses amenities! Only complaint was that it does get a little hot in the house for some of the bedrooms. But the basement and main floor stayed pretty cool. Kayla was a great hostess and was quick with communication when I reached out. The coffee bar was a huge hit and we were thankful for the treats they left us :). All in all if you need a place to house a large group of people this is a great place to stay.

Stayed Here for the Iola Car Show
Home is a very easy drive from the Iola Old Car Show. Our hosts allowed us to use the garage for 2 of our 3 show cars (3rd car is allowed to stay on the show grounds overnight). We were a group of 5, my wife and adult daughter and my brother and his wife. Lots of room for 5 people. Didn't use most of the amenities (never turned on the TV or used the game room) as we were at the car show most of the time, but the hot tub was a blessing after tromping over 8 miles at the show... We did take the short hike to the river and did a little wandering. Enjoyed watching deer on the property.

Fishing Weekend
We had a group of 12 stay at this house for a fishing weekend. It is close to a variety of nice launches and your choice of rivers and lakes. The house was well stocked and clean with everything you could need in a kitchen, pleanty of space to eat, and laid out nicely with space for games and catching up. The ameneties were wonderful and well taken care of. We knew the river was behind the house but we were not expecting well maintained trails. The owners were very responsive, always getting back to answer our questions-typically within the hour. They were willing to work with us as a fishing group and we enjoyed it so much we already booked for next year!

Super comfortable home the 11 of us thoroughly enjoyed
Little surprises around every corner! Starting with the "hidden room" the kids loved finding and playing in. Closets stocked with toys, hidden coffee nook, and movie cabinet! Has everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and clean up after ourselves. While their grandparents swung on the porch swings in the breeze, the kids explored the property, and the river. They caught sucker fish, turtles, and cray fish! We loved putting movies on for them in the theatre room while we relaxed in the cool, finished, basement bar (and vice versa). Kayla was super responsive. Highly recommend this property.

Family Gathering
Our family of 10 really enjoyed this property. It was spacious and well laid out for a variety of activities to be occurring at the same time. Very kid-friendly. Really fun play room in upstairs knee wall area. We also had a great time exploring the property on the trails and down by the river. Kids loved the hot tub. And we had a nice fire in the fire ring one evening There is no central air. But window units have been installed in a couple of the bedrooms. There are lots of windows to open and we had nice breezes. It was not too hot when we were there so we were perfectly comfortable. There is a fair amount of highway noise during the day. But it quiets down at night. We are very likely to return to this property.

Plenty of Fun & Room for a Large Group
Our extended family, ranging from 10-80 years of age decided on this property in the Waupaca area. Our group had foosball & dart tournaments in the downstairs rec room, connected during a bonfire, took inflatable kayaks on the river, played rounds of cards on the large tables inside & outside, and watched the weekend's Formula 1 Race and various movies on the big screen! The hot tub was not working when we were there, but the host immediately let us know of the issue & tried to fix it before getting there. There was many cool touches to call out: the Coffee bar was a hit every morning with the adults and the kid's Adventure Room upstairs was a fun find to name two. All the beds, and we had a big enough group to use them all, where very comfortable - everyone was getting a good sleep each night. The location made it easy to get into Waupaca and various restaurants via the busy highway nearby. The house did heat up during the day, especially upstairs, but opening the windows at dusk cooled it off and it was comfortable to sleep at night. Shampoo/ conditioner/ soap should also be brought for baths/showers as it is not provided. In summary, we loved the time we spent at the property, appreciated the care our hosts showed, and are considering coming back again next year!

Large house for family gathering
The house was huge, clean, and had lots of fun amenities. Kitchen was well stocked, movie room was amazing & deck and outdoor area could be great for games/bbq. Walk to the river was a neat feature. It is right off a highway, and the street noise might be an issue if the windows were open on that side of the house. The items we had issue with were that 2 of the bedrooms had no air conditioning & in august, made them unbearable to be in. A mini split could fix the problem. 3 of the bedrooms and upstairs bathroom had only sheers on the windows, which left us feeling no sense of privacy, and also let the heat pour in throughout the day. One of the bedrooms had no window treatments at all. No one wants to be awakened by the sunrise every morning on vacation. This should be an easy fix. Has the potential to be a great family get-away.

Great place for family getaway
We had an amazing time at the property! There’s so much that the waupaca area offers. Being right on the river was a huge plus for us. We brought kayaks and paddle boards. Took many trips down the river. Also did alot of fishing. Cabin is big enough to host our large family. The hot tub was also a huge hit!

Fun and spacious house
We were 2 families of consisting of 10 people with kids ranging between 8 and 18 who stayed here for four nights. There was tons of space for all of us to not feel crowded at all, the movie room was great and the basement with the foosball table was used a lot as was the hot tub and huge deck outside. The yard is really big and there was a nice path down to the river where we used our paddle board. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook and we loved the fire pit area with lots of comfortable seating. Overall a really fun house, it had everything we needed and the host was very responsive and great to communicate with.
