"We have been renting cottages for 12 years, so this is not our first rental.. Great cottage in a private setting with great swimming- shallow sandy-bottomed water for the youngsters, but deep off the dock. However: 1/ the yellow floatie thing on the beach and the blue-topped cabana in the background of the photo of the property don't exist. 2/ lower bunkbed is unusable due to lack of support for the mattress 3/ BBQ is past its prime: works, but on its way out. Lid falls off if you're not...

"The cottage was perfect for our family reunion. Big enough for 11 adults and two children. The floor plan is spacious, so we never felt cramped. Some things in the house are a bit old, but still functional. We found the furnishings tasteful and harmonious. The kitchen equipment is sufficient even for a large group. There were also more than enough seating options. There are many watercrafts, both for children and adults. We had a great time, surrounded by nature. Communication with the owner was...

Sitting on the dock with my first coffee of the day waiting for the resident muskrat to swim by; doing morning qi gong in full view of the brilliant fall colours; canoeing down the river to the old mill and dam; bundling up with a glass of wine on the deck; enjoying our evening meal by candlelight in the screened in porch........"

"Eight months after booking, property manager advised that booked dates not available. We changed booking dates accordingly, flights, etc. which was inconvenient. Previous renter were very dirty and disrespectful of property and while I'm sure cleaners did what they could in time allotted, we had to sweep, clean a bathroom and wash some bed sheets. Property is beautifully located and well equipped, with good communication with property manager."
