Gorgeous Sandy Beachfront Paw Paw lake home with 155 ft. of frontage and dock

This large fully furnished comfortable home is located on 155 feet of sandy Paw Paw Lake frontage with a private 82 foot permanent pier with dockage for renter's boats and great pier fishing. The beach is sandy with no seawall, so great for swimming. Paw Paw Lake is a 900-acre inland lake with 13 miles of picturesque shoreline to explore, located in Watervliet, Michigan. Paw Paw Lake is one of the premier inland lakes in Southwest Michigan. It's fully recreational, including excellent fishing, power and sail boating, water-skiing and jet-skiing. The beach area is very user-friendly, especially for children since the sandy area's descent is gradual. Boat, jet-ski, kayak, and paddle board rentals are also available from local stores/marinas.

The house is large and cozy with 5 bedrooms, which sleeps 11. There is also a finished 3rd floor (available at additional fee) with 2 more bedrooms to sleep an additional 6 for total of 17, if needed. There is a very large living room with a stone wood-burning-fireplace, comfy denim sofas, and a 65 inch flat panel TV, WiFi, blu-ray DVD player and a stereo. The dining room has a big farmhouse table and the kitchen has everything you'll need. From the house the wide lot offers a gorgeous view of the water and two large bay windows; one in front of the dining table and another that spans the entire living room, giving panoramic views of Paw Paw Lake. The backyard has a huge beautiful wrap-around deck. It's very large and with a picnic table, Weber gas grill and deck chairs. The deck makes an ideal outdoor living space. There is also a screened-in porch and an outside fire pit for s'mores. We even provide you with an aluminum boat with oars. There are cornhole boards, rafts, kids' life vests and toys for the beach. The house has hardwood floors throughout.

The home furnishes everything but your clothes and tooth brush including KitchenAid gas range and oven,dishwasher, microwave, mixers, 2 coffee maker, two refrigerators, extra freezer, dishes, silverware and a basement with a washer and dryer. There is digital comcast cable and wifi included. We provide all towels and linens and even toilet paper.

In the summer the house rents from Friday to Friday. Check-in is at 5:00 pm and check-out is at 10:00 am. It is available in the Fall, Winter and Spring for both shorter-term weekends and longer-term rentals. In the Fall people enjoy weekends of apple and pumpkin picking at nearby orchards, as well as wine tasting at area vineyards. The house is also close to several wedding venues.

The house has 5 bedrooms and can sleep 11 on the main 2 floors. There is also a finished attic that is available for an extra flat fee that has 2 bedrooms that sleep up to 6 more people, for a total of 17. The driveway fits 6 cars.

Amazing Family Time
This is our second time staying at the property and we will definitely be back! Enough space for four families comfortably, large gathering space on the family, an absolutely adorable third floor space for the kiddos with six beds for a minor additional fee. The view is unmatched and the fun on the lake only added to the wonderful accommodations.

Annual family vacation
We have stayed in many different places and this home by far was one of the best. Very accommodating hosts. The home easily accommodated six adults and three grand children comfortable. The lake is beautiful. I hope to get the chance to stay again.

Lovely lake house!
This house is great - lovely outdoor space, nice deck, good lake access. Plenty of space for a good sized group, with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Nice fireplace, well-stocked kitchen, and great lake views from the huge window in the living room. We'll be back!

Perfect place for family getaway
We love returning to this lake house with our family. It has plenty of space, perfect lakefront access, dock to fish and a space to swim. The kids love it as much as the adults. Communication with the owner is so easy, and we have zero complaints!!! Five stars!

Great Stay!
Great place for a long weekend for myself and 9 others. It felt like we had privacy, and it was nice to spread out. There are 45 or so stairs between the beach and house, which I missed in the listing. However, that is really the only negative and it’s not really a big one. The host was great and had a great setup for guests!

Girls' Getaway
There were 7 of us. We rented this house for a long weekend to celebrate our 60th birthdays. Had a wonderful time and created lasting memories! The house and location were great. We made good use of the well-stocked kitchen, back deck and fire pit. Beds were comfortable!! Lori, the property manager, has a wealth of information and provided great recommendations on restaurants, wineries, and boat rental.

Wonderful Lake home
A wonderful stay with my children, their spouses, and my grandchildren. The house has a lot of room to spread out. At check-in we were met by Lori who went through everything in the house and explained how to work things. Very well equipped with all supplies and towels-only need to bring your food! Paw Paw lake is a great area to stay. Beautiful views of the lake from the house and the deck. Nice beach-there are quite a few stairs from the house to the beach, but we all managed. Great family get away!

An absolute gem
To say our stay at Lynn’s was perfect would be an understatement. Booking was a breeze. Lynn and Lori answered all of our questions in a timely and detailed fashion. They provided a guide to the area and were just so kind in every interaction. The house was immaculate. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. Each time we went to see if they had an appliance or kitchen item sure enough it was there. The kids had an absolutely blast with all the beach toys provided. There was plenty of room for our five families, and the kiddos loved the grounds. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much Lynn and Lori.

Huge Success
My family decided it was time we had our first annual family lake vacation and started looking for a house on Paw Paw Lake since it was half way between Wisconsin and Indianapolis....we were so lucky to find this fabulous home. Right from the beginning, we had a great experience. Lori was so good about answering all of my questions and when we arrived she walked us through the house and showed us the whole layout. Lori was helpful with every aspect of our trip. The house was a perfect size for our family. Everyone loved that we could hang with the little ones on the beach, look at the beautiful views of the lake from the huge deck and then be able to hang out at the large fire pit to roast marshmallows. We were so impressed that the owner had everything we needed from beach towels to pots and pans in their fully stocked kitchen. We all felt like we were in our own home. Thank you and we hope to be back next year!

Thanks Lynn for another great stay. The Paw Paw Lake home is very large, clean and accommodated all 12 of us comfortably. Everything for a large group is provided and your recent upgrades are appreciated. The deck and sandy beach front was enjoyed by everyone. Great guys weekend. Fantastic property!
Everyone in our group thought this house was a quintessential lake house on a great lot and in a very convenient location. Very clean and spacious home and beautiful views from the deck, or hanging out on the pier. We rented a boat (Runyon Boat Rentals) and that was a plus as the lake is great. If you are interested in fishing, we caught enough perch for appetizers for 7 guys, not to mention some bluegill and bass which we did not keep. Plenty of room in the house for hanging out, playing games, etc. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen or on grill, and ate in the dining are with views of lake or on the deck. Owners are very response and made the entire process enjoyable. Lastly, a great location near a few restaurants, grocery, drug stores, etc. Highly recommend this property!

Great House for Four Generations of Family
This is a great property, very clean, lots of space and fabulous views! This was a Girl's Trip, first of many I hope, our oldest is 84, and our youngest,l 3 months shy of 2. There was plenty of bedrooms and it was very comfortable. The house has everything you could possibly need. It's also close to so much, St Joseph was a favorite, but also went to Saugatuck, Coloma, and took a ride to Blinkers Diner for a really good breakfast. The little place in town, Watervliet, also had a really good breakfast and a Brewery with several good beers. There were 9 of us, and we all said we would stay here again. The host and her sister, who checked us in, were wonderful communicators. Could reach them anytime and they answered several questions before our stay. You can't go wrong renting this beautiful home on the lake.

Wonderful Family Gathering
We lost our family cottage of 40 years last October. I did not want to lose the closeness a family cottage brings so I rented. The description of this cottage lead me to chose it but I was floored when I arrived and experienced it. A 1920s oversized gorgeous home with a million dollar view! My two sons, their wives and little children, my husband and myself settled in comfortably. There were little hideaway spots to read a magazine, sip some tea or have a chat with someone you love. The beach was perfect for the children and we rented a boat from a local on the lake to make for an all-around picturesque week. Lynn and sister Lori were so helpful and they made the arrival and departure easy peasy.

Amazing Home! Best view on the entire lake.
Lynn’s lakehouse was easily the best home rental we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Lynn and her sister Lori (who checks you in) were fantastic, incredibly kind and very responsive, thank you! Anyone looking to rent a lakehouse on Paw Paw Lake, look no farther, this is the home you want to stay at, you won’t be disappointed. The home is perfect. Great location, absolutely amazing view, through their massive windows overlooking the lake from the bluff/hill top. The home was perfect for our group. Fully stocked with everything you could imagine, they have it all. I won’t even try to list all the positives, everything was top notch. It made for a very easy, stress free weekend. If we are ever in the area again, no questions asked, we will look to rent from Lynn again. Thanks again Lynn, we loved our stay.

We Loved This Waterfront Paw Paw Lake Home!
Our family of 11--parents, children, and grandchildren-- had a wonderful weekend at Paw Paw Lake. Lori was very welcoming and helpful in orienting us to the house and its many features and charms. The home, its many amenities, and its location suited everyone's needs. We appreciated that the family room and dining room could easily accommodate all of us and we were thrilled with the abundant bath towels, beach towels, kitchen supplies, and beach toys. The very gentle slope into the lake and the narrow sandy beach was perfect for our grandchildren ages 1, 3, and 6, The setting and site of this home is lovely, with spectacular views of the lake from a large deck with chairs for everyone. We did some paddling and driving around the lake and came away thinking we stayed at the best place/spot on the lake. Thank YOU! We hope to return in 2020!

Wonderful home, beautiful lake, attentive caretaker
Our family really enjoyed your home, thank you for sharing it with us. This was a family weekend that will forever be etched in our hearts and your beautiful home was a part of that. The home was very comfortable and had plenty room for the 11 of us. We even had a day family reunion of about 40. Lori was very helpful from answering pre-questions promptly, touring the home, providing restaurant recommendations and quickly responding to any questions during our stay. Our deposit was refunded within hours of leaving the house on the last day. The house is stocked with almost anything you need even a local bottle of wine and firewood for the beautiful fireplace. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone that wants to spend time on beautiful lake pawpaw while enjoying all the comforts of home. Thank you again, for sharing your special home with us. Wonderful Location on Paw Paw Lake
I grew up in the area but have spent the last 50 years on the prairie of Nebraska. When this property became unexpectedly available it was an opportunity return and enjoy the area, friends and family. This house and property are wonderful. Everything was as stated in the description. Everything was clean. The house is set up with everything you need from potato peeler to towels. There is a large deck overlooking the lake where one spends most of their time. The beach is clean with a sand bottom lake. The dock is perfect for tying up a boat. Lorie the manager, who is second to none, put us in contact with someone who would rent of their pontoon boat, which we had for a couple of days. As stated earlier, I can't praise Lori enough. A couple of unexpected touches were the bottle of wine from a local winery, Tabor Hill, and a supply of wood for the fire pit. This place is top shelf.

Home Away From Home!
We had an absolute great time staying at this home on Paw Paw Lake. The home is equipped with anything you could possibly need and more. Very spacious, open concept and large enough to accommodate large groups. We have created family memories here that we'll cherish for a lifetime. The location is serene yet close to anything you may desire - grocery, restaurants, golf course, etc.

All members of our family enjoyed staying in this lovely and very comfortable home. We were shown around by a member of the owner's family who answered any questions. The size of the home allowed us plenty of room to gather together or to find a private area to be alone. We also enjoyed the surrounding towns and country side. A very enjoyable weekend.

Spectacular Stay
Six female friends rented this house for a long weekend/reunion. The house and host were beyond expectations. The host was responsible and helpful! The house is so perfect. The location was great! It's a nice quiet neighborhood yet close enough to many charming locations (We spend a fantastic day in St. Joseph). I cannot recommend the house enough!

Amazing Family Vacation Spot
We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The spacious living area and plenty of spaces to sleep allowed everyone to enjoy time together and enough space to spread out. The cottage is stocked with everything you could need and more. The kids enjoyed all of the games and the organ too:) The expansive deck, lake frontage and dock allowed everyone to swim, fish, tube, jet ski and enjoy the sun! If you are bringing your boat be sure to bring plenty or rope and bumpers to adequately tie off on the wooden posts of the dock!
