"Had large extended family gathering for wedding. We all traveled from Massachusetts. Location was close to family and wedding in IL. The house was great! Communication was fantastic and house was exactly as stated. Views along River are gorgeous with beautiful night sky and stars clearly visible. Cosy nights in hot tub and fire pit were perfect. Highly recommend! "

"It’s super close to downtown Yorkville!! So in the months with better weather it would be perfect to stay and walk to the few restaurants downtown and little shops and the river area. We arrived a little early and the host let us in and was able to change the codes around so we could check in as it was cold out! So super accommodating helpful!! Also the garage is a bonus but anything larger than a mid range suv is not going to fit as parking is tight! The only issue we had was the neighbors were...

"We were disappointed in this unit. This is a very old building that needs a lot of work. The windows are filthy. The front door mats are bunched up in a pile on the front stoop. The ‘movie themed’ decor was chinsy at best. The parking area is filled with garbage, broken cinder blocks, a tire, and a junked car. There weee old shoes on balcony. The ‘landscaping’ was filled with garbage and debris. The check-in rules and regulations are extensive (requiring expensive insurance or $5,000 cash...

"We have stayed at many places, this place takes the cake! The owners had everything you would ever need. The communication was great also! My family and I enjoyed sitting by river and staying warm by the fire (again everything you need, yes even fire wood. The home and the grounds were very clean as well. Will definitely be back! "

"We were very pleased with layout, cleanliness and location of this VRBO. The home was furnished nicely and had everything we needed except for a corkscrew but we had one in our car :) and a cheese shredder (or I couldn't find it). 5 Stars from us!!"
