"This was a great cottage for our family of 4. Our kids (9 and 6) loved swimming and fishing off the dock. We used the 2 kayaks and pool toys that were available. The fire pit was great for smores and hot dogs at night. The lake bottom was very sandy by the shore which made it pleasant to walk around in. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. We loved the historic feel. This is how a lake cottage is supposed to be. I'd recommend this property and plan on returning."

The depth around the dock is just right for wading, playing, or jumping into a kayak. Our host communicated clearly and quickly, displaying a sincere desire for a pleasant stay."

"This home had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed for a long weekend by the lake. Kitchen is fully stocked, beds are comfortable, the yard has a swing and lots of birds, and the fire pit made the nights sooo relaxing. The property is a short walk away from the local campground- we rented a pontoon from them and had a great time on the lake. This place is perfect for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. 100 stars!!! "The home met all of our needs and then some. Not only was it clean, but the host family had it completely stocked with things that allowed our packing to be a little lighter. Such as, spices for cooking, olive oil, fresh pellets for the smoker, beach towels, etc. We were looking for a time of relaxing and reconnecting after a busy summer and it met all our needs. The pictures show the lake cottage charm well, but we had no idea how many updated, modern features the cottage would have. From power outlets with USB chargers to incredible kitchen appliances, you will find both traditional lake charm and contemporary features. The owners were amazing and incredibly kind and responsive.
