"Our arrival to Loudon Valley Manor was a little challenging as we arrived but accidentally took a false path and got stuck in some snow. I notified the owner and she came with snow removal equipment to get our car out of the snow which was so kind of her ! We stayed for 2 nights and residence was very quiet and peaceful. "Waterford is far enough away from Washington, but close enough to make a weekend getaway easy. And staying at Scarlet Springs Farm for the weekend was truly the icing on the cake. "It was a cozy little tiny house located right on the river. I came in January and it was about 15 degrees outside so I did not get to use the outdoor shower or grill. I was able to enjoy the view of the river from the tiny house and walk outside on the road (not too many cars). If it was any warmer I would have built a fire and sat outside closer to the river.
