Uniquely Alaskan Vacation Home

**Early July, 2024 we are having a side lawn and the back lawn reseeded, for the rest of the summer these areas will be blocked off to allow for healthy new growth There is still a very large front lawn, but we wanted to let potential renters know this was going on.**

Welcome to Raven's Flight, truly a vacation within a vacation! Offered by lifelong Alaskans, Raven's Flight is filled with extensive Alaskan art, artifact and literary collections. A luxurious, well stocked base camp for your Alaskan adventures, and close to your destinations, rural and urban! Recently added dedicated work space with desk, office chair and printer, in a quiet hallway away from the main living area. Perfect area for working away from home!

Quiet Alaskan Retreat
We booked this home for two weeks so we could enjoy family who live nearby, fishing, and a wedding! I will definitely book here again. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, seasonings, and appliances one could ever need. We loved sitting by the window while eating breakfast and seeing all the little birds come to the feeder. It rained for most of our stay, but we still enjoyed sunny afternoons on the front deck. The beds were comfy. Cynthia, the owner, was super easy to communicate with and very helpful with local information. It was the perfect place for all five of us!

We had a great stay at Cindy’s place. The house was very comfortable and we even entertained 6 other people one night for dinner and had plenty of plates and silverware! The grounds are beautiful and loved having coffee in the am and looking out into the front yard!

Loved the home! Beautiful Alaskan decor throughout the home made it really cozy! Beautiful flowers outside. Nice quiet neighborhood. Loved the area, close to the mountains. This host is wonderful. Great communication, provides us with ideas, places to see, good restaurants etc Provides a welcome basket! Very sweet! Would definitely stay here again! The weather was a plus - gorgeous!

Had a great stay at your property. Had plenty of room for everyone. Property was in a great location for our outings to sightsee SE Alaska without being stuck in a city. House was wonderfully clean, decorated, stocked, and well communicated from owner. It was a perfect location for our adventures, both north to Denali, west to glacier dog sledding, south to river fishing. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting to see Alaska.

This house was a cozy and quiet space. We enjoyed the many kitchen appliances and cookware. The bedrooms could use some mirrors and the bathroom off of the laundry room could use an outlet for a hair dryer but other than that, it was overall a nice experience!

Everything you need is in the house. Can't think of anything we needed that was not there.The house was clean and the master bedroom was very large with a King bed. The other two bedrooms were smaller but both had Queen beds in them.Great kitchen with dish washer and all the other items you would ever need. Washer/dryer worked well. Only problem we had was a sulfur smell in the water which was caused by an unusually dry spring and summer.

Nice and cozy
Beautiful property, very well maintained. Quiet neighborhood. Prime location with easy access to surrounding tourist attractions and local activities outside of Anchorage. The host, Cynthia, was very attentive and responsive during our entire stay. Not being used to the summer time in Alaska, I texted a question at 11:30pm, and she responded right away. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Amazing Experience
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! My kids and niece felt right at home here! We are familiar with the Wasilla area, so the location was perfect for us as we know a lot of family/friends in the area! Everything was readily available, check in was a breeze and worked out well with our travel arrangements. Overall fantastic beautiful home that i will definitely look out for when i need to come all the way down to this region if AK.

This great property keeps getting even better! Attention to detail, artistic, open, great flow, super clean, upscale, well equipped and then some, with lots of "new" - these hosts really outdo themselves with this peaceful, well-kept property that is completely dedicated to the guests experience. My son and I traveled to the valley for features at Alaska Raceway Park. I happened upon this place and have been pleased ever since. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The home was very clean, accommodating, and welcoming. The birds were very active and enjoyable. We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay at this residence and would stay again.

4 Generation Retreat
Cozy, artistic, newly remodeled, luxury cabin with amazing design features that have the vacation guest in mind. You really feel pampered and welcome here. It looks so bright, clean, warm and inviting in person. More so than you can envision in the online photos. The yard is large and well kept, with flowers and song birds. 2 decks for relaxing or enjoying meal time, a large master suit and sunken living room make this a great place to get away for a couple or a group of 7. We hope to come back every year!
