Comfortable and convenient
This is a great property to get a taste of Alaskan living. The house is secluded and private yet a short trip to all the stores/restaurants. The beds were super comfortable. The hosts have added everything you could want from coffee to toiletries. Kids enjoyed the board games. We were greeted by a family of adorable rabbits.

Great House!
We had a wonderful stay at Abby’s cottage. The location was perfect for exploring areas north of Anchorage (Wasilla, Palmer, Talkeetna, Denali). The house was immaculate, the beds were amazingly comfortable and the water pressure for showers was fantastic. The owners were quick to reply to texts during our stay and extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who’s interested in exploring Alaska as a traveler, not just visiting the tourist locations.

Our stay at Abby's Cottage was just perfect for our needs. It was close to commercial/professional offices/stores, yet located in a very rural setting. The home was very clean and well maintained. The home was very roomy, quiet and everything we needed. Just as pictured. Hosts were great to ask questions. All the supplies in kitchen were there for cooking. I were not home for dinner but it would of been great. My grandkids love playing hide and seek. there are many rooms. We hope to stay again.

Quiet location
Pros: This unit was spacious and the location country yet close to Wasilla. The main king bedroom was in the basement, which was very quiet and dark. Laundry detergent was provided. There were numerous condiments and spices available. There was good communication with the property owner. Cons: The front steps have a slant to them and are dangerous and slippery. There was a live trap in the side yard which trapped a rabbit, was taken away, and returned. More attention could be given to cleaning: the range was grease covered and there were bread crumbs behind and underneath the toaster. Overall, it was a good home base to explore the area. A solid 3 star.

Quiet stay outside the city hustle
We fell in love with Wasilla and the ease of getting anywhere from the house. It was still an easy drive to Anchorage to check out top attractions and look for moose. This home is a short ride to several lovely trails and lakes and is on a quiet dead end street. Host was easy to reach with quick response when I reached out. The kitchen is well equipped, they have games on hand, and a lovely gas fireplace. I would just be aware there are several steep stairs, I was traveling with my husband’s aunt and my parents and would have made other arrangements had I been aware so just sharing with others.

I stayed in Abby’s Cottage with my husband and 6 children! Not only was the cottage well stocked with necessities, but also clean and quite roomy! The host had great communication and was quick to respond to any messages/questions! They were gracious and put a tree with ornaments at the house for our kiddos to keep the Christmas spirit alive while away from home! The views around the cottage were gorgeous! The cottage is right outside of Wasilla, which made town runs extremely easy and quick! Very country feel! We are extremely pleased with this stay and plan to stay again!

Great little cottage with everything you need. Very comfortable.
This home had everything visitors would need. Very east to sign up for, a wonderful location tucked back in the woods next to many other homes, horses, etc. The owner was very responsive to questions and assistance. All the amenities of home, washer dryer, 3 bedrooms with locks on doors, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen and a very nice living room with large TV and on demand fireplace.
