"The price of our room was twice as expensive as similar hot spring hotels. That was because our room had its own private hot spring bath, which would have been wonderful, but the bath's size was even smaller than ours at home, and because of that we didn't want to use it."

"I wholeheartedly recommend this onsen to anyone visiting morioka, even if for a couple of nights only. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the service was the best we had experienced before in any hotel or onsen. "They seem to be short staffed though it’s probably the norm for hotels like these but still very satisfied with my stay here. The room was very large especially for Japan and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit of a walk to the station but doable. Try staying on the main road to the hotel. We took a back road after stopping at a convenient store and had to walk on a road with no sidewalk with our luggage. "

"Property is high up a mountain secluded. I did not get the chance to explore the area so I'm not sure if there's other options in, but our option was thru a taxi. Definitely would have to drive up to get up there. The facilities had a fantastic view. The hotel also had a spacious onsen, very well equipped.
