The room was very clean and had pleasant art work and bed coverings.. However, the air condition unit was so high up on the wall that I could not reach the controls. Also, the celling fan/light combination had only one wall switch. When I arrived, only the fan was set to work. I had to have the bar help come in, who had to stand on a chair to pull the short chain to turn on the lights. Then they operated together, so, when I turned off the light at night the fan also went off. No one of average height would be able to pull those chairs to control the fan and lights there should be separate wall switches for each feature. Also, the windows were covered with a very cheap mini binds whose cords have been removed so they could not be raised or lowered. They provided not protection against the light of the morning sun. If I wanted to get up at 5:50 am I would stay home and set an alarm. The tub had a safety bar but only on the shower head end. There is nothing to hold on to if you want to enter the shower at the far end (and not get your head wet). Also, there are no hooks anywhere - not in the room or the bathroom to hang clothes, jackets, etc. Plan on living out of you suitcase with wrinkled clothes if you stay here. I guess there is a restaurant with food service, but there was no mention of it nor was there a menu in the room. Luckily I brought the standard Washington Island information pamphlet from home. There was not one in the room and I was not offered one.
