We can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests in two bedrooms, with queen beds in each room, each with it's own bathroom.

Please note: once inside the property it is quiet however, given the amazing central U St location of the property there is to be expected some sound runoff particularly at weekends.
Guest Access:
As with many homes in DC the neighboring units are rented out full time. You will have your own entrance and private access however please be mindful of that fact and that noise can travel.

Shaw, centered around U Street NW, has been the hub for African-American social, cultural, and economic progress in the nation's capital! U St is famous for it’s lively music scene and its smorgasbord of dining options. Foodies will have no shortage of choices; from Ben’s Chili Bowl to homemade ice cream at the Ice Cream Jubilee, there’s a little something for everyone.
The neighborhood is very safe - experience the nightlife of U St, and leisurely stroll back to your apartment for some welcome respite.
Getting Around:
Navigate on foot to discover an eclectic variety of unique restaurants and cafes, boutique shops, and lively bars along U St, or go toward T St to view the local architecture. Hop on the G/Y Metro line for a trip to the National Mall and other sights to play tourist for a day or two.
We are a short stroll away from TWO metro stations; U Street/African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo (2 minutes), and the Shaw/Howard University Metro (10 minutes).
In addition, we are 1-3 blocks away from several Capital Bikeshares and bus lines. The 96 bus can have you at the United States Capitol in under 30 minutes, and the stop is a short walk from the home.
Order a Lyft to visit Mount Vernon Estate in the incredibly beautiful Virginia countryside, and experience how George Washington himself found respite from the DC hustle and bustle.
Prefer something more active? Most central Washington DC features are all within walking. Several Capital Bikeshares are located short strolls away; they offer bike rentals by the hour at excellent rates - a truly awesome way to explore the city, the Potomac Tow Path, the Anacostia Waterfront, and nearby Virginia and Maryland! .
