We weren't aware of building works going on in hotel, so were woken every day of our 10 day trip with drilling and hammering in hotel reception 3 floors below us. The hotel itself was in a nice area and very convenient to our needs. We would stay again as long as there was no renovations taking place

Great alternative to the Hampton inn where we were awakened by a cockroach! Hilton garden inn was very accommodating. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low. The parking is inconvenient (across the street in a parking garage, 4th floor). Still the best in Shirlington.

Check in was more difficult then it needed to be. 2nd time staying at this hotel 1st time issue because website allowed dogs but hotel was not aware. Been using this site and this name for years and I am completely disturbed by the uppity attitude of the desk personnel when I am clearly the person that made the reservation. Will not be staying here again
