"Eleanor and Kurt's Gothic Village is a piece of preserved history of the New Hope, PA artist colony over the last century. The two rental cottages are adorable, but they ARE historic and come with some minor signs of their age (and challenges to ours). "the house has everything you need and more! from qtips and a first aid kit to a nespresso machine and milk frother (!!), the amenities in the house go above and beyond! we brought our own salt and pepper and spices bc we are used to staying in rentals that don’t have basic cooking and baking supplies, but that stuff was all supplied in this home! the house was cozy and so clean. really enjoyed staying here. "The hosts were generous and kind. The home was spacious, clean, and very well stocked with essentials. The outdoor space was also well maintained and had a lot of space for kids to run around. The staircases were steep and would probably have been a deterrent if I saw a picture of them beforehand. "

"Very nice house to use as a base for a Doylestown wedding. Nothing fancy, but we weren't there that much. Very clean, comfortable and quiet with a nice kitchen. Great AC! The one problem was the entrance--It was very hard to find even when we knew it was hidden. Also it was hard to get out on the very busy road--visibility from the driveway to the road was obscured even for a right turn."
