"definitely not a walking town but the hotel was really cute"

"This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. The rooms are spacious. We were able to bring our dogs to stay with us on our visit. If I could change one thing about this property it would be with regards to the hot tub in the pool area. There is a 4 person hot tub that when busy was not convenient for use. There seems to be enough room in the pool area for them to upgrade their hot tub. This was of course not the main point of our visit, just making a note. "

"I was in Port Angeles for a one night stay. I chose Super 8 because of the location, the fair rate, and that it is pet friendly. I requested a ground floor room near an exit and they took care of my request perfectly. The room was very clean and fit our needs. I found the bed to be a bit hard for me, but I still got a decent nights sleep. They have a dog potty area outside the back entrance door that is lighted and has potty bags and a garbage can. The refridgerator didn't seem to be as cold as I would expect and there is no freezer compartment which was a bummer. The internet worked well and they provided excellent directions for figuring out the two remotes to get the TV to work. I knew going in that they did not serve breakfast. They do give you a 10% discount at Joshua's which is right next door to the hotel. I ate dinner there and it was excellent. We left too early in the morning to get breakfast (they open at 7:00) but maybe my next trip I will be able to eat breakfast. I did notice in the comments that the manager said they are always looking to improve the hotel but they have still not added a breakfast so it doesn't seem to be a high priority. Overall it was a nice stay and I would definitely stay here again. "

"Friendly staff, clean facility. View of ocean during the day was lovely. At night our view was obstructed by the light that came on right next to our balcony. Ruined ambiance. But the fireplace helped and is a nice added touch when you can not see the ocean. The bed was too hard for my liking but they provide you with enough pillows that I used them to help with padding. access to beach is great. Breakfast was abundant and the variety was fabulous 👌. Loved going into the top of the lighthouse and looking around. Overall a wonderful place to stay. I will recommend them to family and friends."
