"I didn't like that the house keepers don't knock on the door first before they use the master key to come in to clean. I also didn't like that there was no door hanging signs to say yes or no for cleaning service or do not disturb. "

"The room was clean, if crowded. The table and chairs would be a nice touch, but there wasn't really room for them, and the lounge chairs were too low for the table. Other than that, the room was clean, the beds comfy, plenty of towels. The breakfast cook was excellent! It rained hard during our stay; being able to park right in front of our door was certainly handy. The ends of a couple of walkways were low and flooded; those should be addressed. Check-in at 10:30 pm after a 14-hour drive was quick and easy. Check-out, too, was quick and efficient. Both attendants were friendly and efficient. Despite the storms, and being in town for my father-in-law's funeral, we enjoyed our stay in Hope. "

The location is perfect for people who want to explore the state park. The cottage was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of towels!"
