Our fully furnished 2-story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath Cabin offers a beautiful Pine interior, an incredible deck to enjoy the Valley view, a fully equipped kitchen, fire pit, outdoor charcoal grill, a gas grill, washer and dryer, and the luxury of being directly on the snowmobile and ATV trails. Conveniently located just 6.5 miles north of Washburn, and 7 miles from Bayfield and the Apostle Islands on a 47 acre parcel with beautiful woods and valley's, you will be secluded, yet minutes away from great shopping, and great restaurants in Bayfield and Washburn. Minutes drive or ATV ride directly to Lake Superior and excellent river trout fishing streams. Come see spectacular views/photograph wildlife right off the deck and relax in comfortable chairs. ATV/Snowmobile paradise located directly on the State Snowmobile and ATV Trail System at the end of the driveway. You are also very close to the Valhalla Cross Country ski trails and Mt. Ashwabay Ski Hill & Big Top Chautauqua. 4-Wheel drive is recommended in the winter due to increased snowfall at higher elevations. Exterior security cameras are in plain view and pointed at exterior doors/parking area. Air Conditioned.

Loved the house. Have stayed at many vrbo's and this was the best stocked house. Had everything you could ask for. Beautiful views from the spacious desk. Location was perfect for our stay. Will definetly be back!!

What a beautiful place inside and out! Definitely one of the best we've stayed at! The drive in was a little rough because of the frozen dirt road, but it was worth it for the large private property where our dog loved roaming freely!

The views are beautiful, the house is great, we had a great time snowmobiling. The deck looked amazing, too bad it was so cold and snowy, we would love to come back and enjoy it!

Such a lovely home! The house was exactly as described! It was very clean, well stocked and the view was AMAZING! Also close to all of the activities in the area . I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Really well equipped. Well-stocked kitchen, game table, towels, etc. Super clean! The grill had a nest in it, which wasn't ideal, but we were able to fix it. Everything else was fantastic!

Beautiful home with incredible scenery
We were very impressed with how comfortable this home was for us, our dog and friends who came with us. We enjoyed touring Bayfield, Madeline Island and spots in between. It was wonderful to come home and relax on the deck and look out at the incredible views. The only problem we had was the road getting to the home is very rough and I suggest a 4-wheel drive to navigate it. Otherwise we loved our stay here and strongly recommend.

I rarely give such high marks
This place was secured and very well supplied all the little Necessities like there dish soap , laundry pods and dryer sheets. The Kitchen did not have a dishwasher but it wasn’t an issue for me and my brother. It had an interesting setup down stairs was like a party setup or second living room with a seperat Bathroom and Refrigerator. Loved the views from upstairs in March. The Motieth was rustic camp slash cabin and we loved it.

Great family vacation spot
The property was beautiful and very clean.. Location is quite a ways off of the beaten path and roadway is not the smoothest… but once you arrive you have complete privacy. The cabin is stocked with everything you would ever need. The only negative is the AC- it was very hot during the week we were there and the downstairs bedrooms never cooled down for sleeping. There is just one AC unit upstairs in living room and it didn’t cool off any of the other rooms. Bedrooms need a window air conditioner in all of them. We had a great week and would recommend the property during cooler weather. Bayfield was a fun town to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Privacy, peace and quiet
This was our second stay at Valley Vista. It won't be our last. My only issue was the gypsy moth infestation this year. Last year we didn't see any evidence. This year the trees were denuded. There were hundreds of dead caterpillars and moths flying around. I wish there was some notification of the issue. We didn't know if some kind of chemical was used and if it was safe for baby's and dogs to be on the deck.

Beautiful cabin in the woods with everything you need
This is a beautiful cabin in a secluded location. It is very nicely decorated, clean, and is stocked with everything you need. We had 6 adults and had plenty of room. The beds in the 3 bedrooms are very comfortable, and it is really nice having 2 full baths. Just bring your food and beverages- everything else is there. You will absolutely love the view from the deck while sitting in very comfortable outdoor rocking chairs. It is very quiet, as there are no nearby neighbors. Kahron was great to work with and very responsive. Everything was very easy. She provided suggestions on hiking trails and things to do in the area during the reservation process, and there is a book full of material in the cabin when you arrive. She has thought of everything. We have a wonderful time, and we will definately stay here again.

A wonderful and relaxing weekend!
This was out first stay at Valley Vista and we would definitely return! The cabin was everything it promised. It was quiet and so peaceful, the view from the back porch were gorgeous. We were lucky enough to be there when the fall leaves were close to or at peak. The cabin was clean and cozy. We spent out days hiking and it was nice to come back to a warm cozy place, love the fireplace. I had requested restaurant suggestions from Kahron (the owner) ahead of time. We made it to most of her suggestions and they were all great! Even though we were there for relaxation it was nice to have tv as the WI Badger game was on Saturday night and we didn’t have to miss it. Bayfield was a very short drive with gorgeous views. I also love the fact that you allow dogs. Our yellow lab Buster had a great time!! Thank you for sharing your cabin and making it so inviting! Hope to return next year! Jim, Tara and Buster

Cameras Everywhere
The property is beautiful and in a really private location. With that comes poor WiFi connection, which is to be expected. What really bothered us was the number of cameras on the property. They are not just pointed at the entry door, but also the outdoor deck area, which is the main reason we rented the place. They also seemed to possibly reach into the sliding glass doors a little bit. We noticed there may be other cameras on the property, such as in a decorative eagle. I emailed the property owner to ask if they check cameras during guest’s stays. They did not reply. When I emailed them days later to ask for checkout instructions, they responded promptly. They never answered my question about checking the cameras, which made us very uncomfortable. I also noted that the gas grill only had two working burners.

Secluded Home in the woods
Property is a very nice get away home - -not a run down or old cabin feel, but very much a well maintained and modern home. Nicely decorated, all kitchen items there, hotel like stay as far as not worrying about towels, soap, dish soap, etc. Much appreciated. Deck is wonderful, great view and covered for shade/showers with nice chairs. Inside was plenty of room and 2 refrigerators is great when feed a family for a week. Rooms are big and beds comfy with plenty of blankets, we slept with windows open the whole time. (nice metal screens). Hardest thing was trying to keep my kids off the satellite TV while out in the woods but it was appreciated at night for a break. Town is a short distance away for a groceries, etc. The Map provided to the cabin worked well, making the trip 1x and it was easy to navigate again. the last mile or so is a dirt then very loose sandy rutted road for a short section that I wouldn't want to try in a small car or during a rain storm but we never had an issue in dry conditions. Do go slow, we encountered vehicles coming the other direction 2x on the dirt road portion. Could use an electric water kettle or tea kettle for stove for tea, hot chocolate, etc - -one small pan has a pour spout but it is still messy and not very big when heating water for 5 at a time.
