Given the $900 per night rate, I expected five-star amenities and experience all around. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist. Azure is a new property, and the rooms are furnished nicely including the kitchen, however, the configuration of the suite lacked lounge chairs to relax near the room.
We stayed in the Junior Suite with two levels. However, it would have been convenient to have a half bathroom or at least a full-length mirror on the lower level.
The ocean views are stunning, and the restaurant food is excellent, though it is considerably more expensive than dining options in Hamilton.
One downside is the numerous steps leading to the private beach and saltwater pool. However, the view is breathtaking once you reach this area.
We visited during a busy holiday season, and it seemed the pool areas were not equipped to handle more guests. Finding a chair became a challenge, and at one point, another guest moved my belongings from a chair I had saved. There was no staff around to monitor this. There was a shower available near the beach but no restroom facilities.
To enhance the experience, given the hilly climate, it might be beneficial to offer rides to and from the sea salt pool area.
The gym equipment is nice but requires much maintenance, particularly the cable machine.
Overall, Four Star with Five Star Nightly Rates.
