"Superior luxurious duplex. Two completely separate attached homes on the property with magnificent views, access to local hikes. 10 minutes from a small town (Sulz) with a good supermarket and bakery. Lots of cultural and mountain activities within a 30 - 60 minute ride. Sauna, hot tub and indoor pool are shared between the two homes. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and well-appointed. The stepping stones used as stairs are uneven, some wobbly, and no hand rails, which made them very UNSAFE. The home needs a new latch on the gate and a handle on the patio door. "It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

"We loved our stay at this little farm cottage built in the 1700s. So much charm and authenticity! The brand new kitchen had everything we needed. Views of the alps from the windows were breathtaking. The owners live in the attached cottage and speak terrific English. They are extremely helpful. My only recommendation to them is that they perhaps place some slipcovers over the two sofas in the living room of the cottage since they are a little musty and dusty. "Lovely traditional log cabin in a beautiful, peaceful location. Nadia was super helpful in helping us find the property and checking us in. It had everything we needed for a few days peace in the beautiful hills. Super clean and welcoming. It is a little remote and 15 minute drive down the windy hill to get to the nearest shops so stock up before you go. We loved to get away and the house was perfect for this. "

"We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds."

The house is well maintained as you would expect. The bedrooms are on split level 2 in the main apartment and one downstairs. We will be back as it’s great"

"Ein wunderbarer Ort um kurz abzuschalten. Das Haus und die Küche sind sehr gut eingerichtet und sehr heimelig. Der gesamte Garten ist eingezäunt für Hunde/Kinder und es hat sehr bequeme Liegestühle. Es liegt zwar direkt an der Strasse, wenn man aber hinten raus sitzt und die Schlafzimmer hinten raus hat ist es absolut kein Problem. Gerne wieder!"

"The self check-in facility wasn't working and it took 30 minutes and phone conversations with 3 people before a very helpful lady was able to assist. Another guest spoke to us during that time to say he'd had trouble checking in 3 days earlier and had not had any wifi access at all for his stay. When we got into our room it was comfortable but finding long hairs hanging over the kitchen bench from the mezzanine floor above, 3 open sachets of coffee and sugar open in the bowl of sachets provided...
