This is a beautiful flat, but I recommend it only for a close couple that does not need to bathe.
One bedroom has curtains & a door. This is the only room where you can block light & people. The tub (listed as a shower) has a handheld spray wand which would not turn on.
The second bed & bath are in the living room/kitchen. No doors or curtains. The glass shower has a rain showerhead which only dribbles. A hand-sprayer is present, but lacks enough water to rinse soap off.
The floor to ceiling balcony windows only have upper shades. While the views are nice, direct beams of light streaming into the livingroom/bed as soon as the sun rises can't be blocked.
With no doors or curtains, you can see reflections of your party using the loo from the kitchen or see them directly from the living room. The toilet is essentially in the kitchen. Anyone staying in the open bedroom or pullout couch risks guests & the construction team across the street watching them shower or pee.
As a woman traveling with my step-dad this was not ideal. Kids would not be safe as floor grates the length of the kitchen and living room slide apart with springs and can trap toes & skin.
Many amenities were broken or missing. The A/C didn't cool below 80°F. The coffee maker & showers were broken. The promised coffee, tea, creamer, pantry items, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit were absent. It was mentioned that there is a fee for parking, but the Hilton pool, sauna, etc were listed as included amenities. They are not included, there is an additional fee. While the mattress brand is Bamboo, the bedding is rough, not bamboo (as advertised).
The host selectively ignored my concerns & finally sent a gaslighting reply 13 hr after an escalation email from VRBO. They claim I should have expected the lack of privacy from the photos & low water pressure because it was on the 14th floor. The water from working faucets was plenty strong.
Again, it is a beautiful place, but the host is not transparent or helpful. I rent my home out and believe in being clear about deficiencies or possible surprises to ensure guests are happy. I'd rather someone book their best fit, than trick them into booking my place and have them be disappointed. But some hosts just want your money, will be deceitful to get it, and unapologetic once they have you.
You should not stay here if you have more than 2 guests, have kids, like to sleep past sunrise, were excited about the coffee maker, or need to shower
