Cozy Home w/ Boat Parking 5mins From Truman Dam

Spoonbill Manor sits squarely in the middle of the hill country of Warsaw. You will find quick access to the water, newly added boat parking, good eats, marinas, antique and gift shops and beautiful views. In the manor, we have plenty of comfy furniture and a front patio with firepit, perfect for telling stories of the one that got away.

We invite furry friends, just not too, too many and crated when left alone please. All floors are vinyl so cleanup is nice and easy.

Hot cocoa and coffee are on the house, and we have a fish fryer for battering up the day's catch. There's candy for the kids (and the adults, too).

We have a washer & dryer available with soap provided. Also an Xbox in the master bedroom and kids toys in the second bedroom. The full size bed in the 2nd bedroom is a Sleep Number, too. Plus, there's an air conditioner and independent heat thermostat in each bedroom for perfect comfort control.

Spoonbill (paddlefish), crappie, carp, deer, goose and quail are just some of the game you will find in the Warsaw countryside. And you can't complain about a lack of fish or foul when you're smack dab in the middle of the Ozarks with plenty of water and free Corps of Engineers hunting land nearby.

And just so you know, we have security cameras on the exterior of the house, both front, back and sides. They are positioned to see the driveway, the front and backyard and the woods. They are not able to see into any windows. They are there for safety records only. They are not actively monitored. The footage is deleted on a rolling basis.

Short summertime get away
We had a great 4 night stay with our pups. The host was very responsive when I reached out for any reason. The house had almost everything you could need for your stay. Plenty of parking for our boat and truck. Neighbor on right side is very friendly and checks in often when you get back from your outings.

Awesome Short Getaway
We wanted to get away for a few days and just relax. Maybe fish a bit. Weather was not cooperative so we just hung out at the house and enjoyed some of the restaurants in Warsaw. House was perfect and description was spot on. We appreciated the amenities that made our stay so comfortable!

Perfect Little Getaway
This house is a hidden treasure. Very cozy and has a "cabin by the lake" feel. Owners provide so much for you as well! If you're in the area, I 100% recommend this home.

This was the first rental that we have booked that actually looked exactly like the pictures! The property manager is so friendly and all accomodations were in the house! The neighbors are friendly and very helpful navigating the surrounding areas for fishing and other activities! House was clean and comfy! We will be staying here again!

The location and amenities were good for our fishing trip on Truman Lake. We were able to park the boat in the driveway and pug it in to charge the batteries. We were just a few steps away when bringing our gear in to prepare for the next day. The neighborhood was quiet.

My brother had rented the house the weekend before I did and said it was perfect for us. I grew up in Warsaw and my parents still live there. My dad was not in good health and ended up passing away. We were able to extend our stay without any problems. They were sympathetic to our situation and worked with me. Would definitely stay again.

The area definitely wasn’t what we thought it would be but we made the best of it. The neighborhood is a bit rough but felt better with the cameras on the property. Good place to come back and crash at. There was mold in the shower and bath mat and the seal on the bath was peeling so we didn’t bathe our daughter in the tub. Host is very nice and a great communicator.

What a fun time!
This was our first VRBO stay and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house was very clean and pleasant. The owner was very easy to work with and the house was very cute. We had enough towels and blankets for our stay. Very easy check in and check out. No expectations for check out but we did do the dishes and take the garbage out. There was a small liquor/convenience store and restaurant at the entry to the road the house was on. The neighbors we spoke with were very friendly and there was even a neighborhood dog that was friendly. It was nice enough that we could sit outside and enjoy the weather. There were chairs for us to use outside. There was a fire pit but we didn't get a chance to use it. There was also a gas grill that we used one night. We would definitely stay at this property again if we have the chance.
