"The place is beautiful with river running behind property with several fire pit. Property does sell fire wood so no need to try to look for stores who has them. I would definitely recommend to use the fire pit, the scenery is gorgeous but be careful especially during fall theres lots of dry leaves around the pits that may catch fire. The room is very clean with nice sheets and clean towels and has adequate kitchen equipment to use if you are planning to do light cooking. Theres no staff in sight but they are very quick to respond thru text msgs if you have any requests, I loved Avery who helped us when we needed to change the room we booked. She was very quick to respond and eager to help us. I would definitely use this lodge again for people who worked at the property and the beautiful scenery and the atmosphere. "

"We had four couples coming from four different states. Our stay was during the end of September 2024. This house has ample room both in bedrooms and living space. Super views even with leaves on the trees. We would return to this house."

"The house was cute, and the location was good. We liked the woods and stream around the house and the quiet road it was on. The views of the woods out the windows were lovely. There were a few old board games for the kids, but not much else for them to do when it was raining. The TV worked well, and we had internet. The bed downstairs was a little hard and the sheets looked old. Some of the furniture was obviously old, but we didn't use a lot of it anyway. The kids stayed in the loft and thought that was fun. The downstairs shower didn't seem to get hot no matter how long we ran it, but I'm not sure why. We just used the upstairs shower. We were happy that we could bring our dog. Overall, it was a nice stay for the few days we were there, and very affordable. "
