Our property is an older home that comes with its own unique character and charm. The home may have some dated features and minor quirks, which we believe add to its distinctiveness. We appreciate your understanding that, while we strive to maintain the property to the best of our ability, it may not have the modern conveniences of a newly built home.

Look no further! This home is perfect ♥️
We had the pleasure to stay at this home for a weekend. The only complaint is we wish we could have stayed longer. The home is layed out perfectly and the views are stunning! Its such a great home to entertaine in. So much room and well thought out furnishings. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you could need.We noticed how great it would be for a family with children too!! So many books, toys and games. The check in process was smooth and we had excellent communication. We reccomend. this home highly for a perfect getaway. We will be back!!

Wonderful for extended family
We came to the Mad River Valley for our son’s wedding at The Round Barn. Our extended family all stayed together- 4 generations plus two dogs. We had a fabulous stay (and wedding). Highlights were the large house with lots of places for people to hang out, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, great deck with a lovely view of Sugarbush, hot tub (although we never managed to find the time to use it), very functional kitchen with any pan or utensil you might need, very convenient parking (we had 6 cars). They could use some more outside seating although it was a bit chilly the weekend we were there so we didn’t really miss it. We would return anytime if the occasion arose.

Beautiful landscape. Everything looks like the pictures. We had enough space for our family of 11. Living and play rooms were great. Loved all the books and games. We didn’t watch tv, but there were quite a few in the house. Lots of pots and pans as well as dishes and glassware. Really felt like we were staying in a friend's home (given the amount of items around the house and in cabinets/drawers). The rugs needed vacuuming, but other than that, everything was clean.

5 star potential 4 star experience
I have hesitated to write this review because we did enjoy the property. First the many good things - space and layout were awesome. 2 master suites plus 3 other bedrooms. 5 baths. Also a kids room with games and hangout space. 2 living areas and large dining room Well stocked kitchen. Location was nice and outside space was beautiful. So what didn't go well. To the owner - you need to get an electrician into the house to check outlets and switches. Many did not appear to work and lights did not come on. Disposal did not work ( I know you said it did but we couldn't find the switch or make it work ). Communication with Sky Run was fine once we used their phone number - don't communicate via vrbo. communication with Sky Run consisted of them replying with what we could do to fix problems- disposal doesn't work - try the reset button - already did that . Ran out of propane - instructions said they would replace - Sky Run said go get it yourself and we will pay you. We are on vacation - should have a spare wo we can keep grilling. And last - you have to take your own trash to the "transfer station" which they said was only closed Sunday. So we load the stinky trash in the car and head off for the day to find out it is only open Mon, Wed and Friday. Really - a high end rental and you have to haul your own trash. There were trash cans in the garage. Not a huge thing but a big pain. So - would we rent here again - yes - but please get some things fixed!

Family visit at Mad Meadows
Property is a great location with a lovely pond and yard. The house is a bit tired and dated and needs some upgrading. I hesitate to write anything negative a we had a great stay. Pluses are the many toys and games for kids to play with in the play room. Pluses are the many bedrooms with lots of bathrooms. Negatives deal with moisture problems. The basement could use a dehumidifier. Some of the bedroom rugs in the lower level smell and should be replaced. This is a great family home, which has clearly been loved by its owners, but it does need an redo, especially to deal with the moisture.

Good spot for large group
This house was great for our large group of 12. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, lounging space, and outdoor space. There were a few issues with lights not working, a leaking skylight, and a deck board that was not fastened adequately which were unfortunate. The response from the property manager was very good to try to address the issues.
