"Tranquil & quite lodge while there. Beautiful outlook from the back porch watching sunset & sunup. They have firepits you can use but it was warmer so didn't have a fire. This lodge is a "stand-alone" away from the main check in area. Make sure you have everything you need before going to your room including, snacks & drinks. I recommend they install some grab bars in the bathtub area for safety of all ages. We had a king size room. We would definitely stay here again."

It appears that there is a continental breakfast - the offering was coffee - the picture of the clean area with tables was non-existent - it appeared to be more of a cluttered storage area - there were resident cats and the litter smell at times was quite unpleasant. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, yet the building and furnishing were well worn - the place could use and upgrade. It was also quite a distance from dining and everything...

There is much to do in the surrounding townships, but there is also peacefulness to be found hanging out at the hotel. It's a gem, and I'm so happy to have found it. "

"Nice place that needs a few upgrades to be Outstanding! Quite and comfortable stay during the week of Thanksgiving. Welcome gifts were a very nice touch! Issue with the show hot water - even thought the heater is set at 150 degrees, we had to set the valve at all hot to get a warm shower."
